The Charli album timeline is so fascinating to me. We know with all the hundreds of songs she made around that time that the album had at least two or three identities before the final product. Like wow. It’s cool to imagine a world with an album in the vein of Click, Lucy Liu, Next Level Charli, Block. Or in the vein of Ballerina , Cigarettes & Alcohol, White Mercedes…Blame It On Your Love, Next Life, Would You… it’s just so full of character. It’s her heaviest body of work too. The German track, 1000 Pieces is apparently being released by the DJ who produced it, but Claws, Bait, and Castles are- according to Kim very recently—— on the record.
