I see a Eurovision influence going on LOL Yes. The interesting fact is that Bruno is basically a midget and his fanbase is called Hooligans. Hooligans? LOL. I imagine a bunch of midgets invading a football stadium in London and making a mess with their tiny punches and tiny kicks. Her mom pimps all of them. Kendall is the next in line. Why do you thing she named the baby North West? Basically a Las Vegas Show Girl in the making (pimping in this case, by grandma pimp) I have no idea why is called Navy but Navy is not bad. Barbs is not bad either, After Lambs all in all sounds good Solange's fanbase was just named Ultraviolence

Money, Power and Glory, FMWTTT, Ultraviolence and Old Money are such good titles. I would love to see US dealing with a single named Fucked My Way to The Top so I expect it as the new one (it's not gonna happen is it??) About Sad Girls I guess is the new Carmen and related to Girls who get high way too much. Lana mentioned Carmen being one of her fav songs. I think the album will get 3 to 4 singles , depends on how well it's received. Don't Naacho! That's because Beyoncé's songs are more superficial than a kids pool. VG was a 5 minutes ballad an I think that turned out alright for her... No one skipped that one ...so...it's more about the material and less about the amount of minutes. Plus 5 to 6 minutes is nothing out of the extraordinary.

1. I wouldn't use the word aggressive, I would say they are enthusiastic. Mostly gay boys and teen girls on the front lines. At least the concert I attended lots of 20 something guys and girls too, they just don't stand that close to the stage. 2. Her set is ridiculously short and that kind of disappoints me 3. I have a gigantic respect for Lana for not doing Meet & Greet and yes it's not hard to meet her after the show. Sometimes she spends quite a whil;e talking to fans and gp who attended the concert.

The backlash was a US ordeal and IMO today Lana Del Rey is a great brand. What happened to her career in US is the opposite equivalent of what happened (or how she was judge/perceived) in other territories. I assume that cover is a sarcastic take on a couple subjects including the album name. A serene, simply cover for an album called Ultraviolence is great if you ask me. It's intriguing. Lana is a better advertiser than people give her credit for. IMO has nothing to do with her thinking her name wouldn't attract buyers which was already proven wrong with 2 sold European Tours and 1 sold out South American tour. Her brand is already established as a international singer. I assume she wants more space in the US territory, is her country after all and the inspiration to most of her songs, but I don't think Lana would think her name would be a repellent even in US.

Agree that the music is the most important factor but the cover (for physical release/sales) is really important. There are many items on the shelf so if doesn't get your attention is bad for business. Doesn't affect her fanbase or people who go to the store to specifically buy her album but does affect the sales of random joe going into the store to buy some new music. Anyway I like the cover and I think anyone who knows Lana's music and amterial in general can catch the sweet irony of that cover, I actually liked a lot. Not as a art work more like a sarcastic thing.

The singer and song writer of the album puts a picture of herself on the cover and you call it random girl LOL Lana sould more than 5 millions of albums, has a gigantic fanbase....why are you talking about her like she is a new act that is releasing her first album?
-
no it doesn't

1. Rihanna's voice is amazing. Deal with it and accept the fact Island Girl the smash hits maker has a amazing sexy voice. 2. Random girl? Seriously?
-
I agree. Denim on denim is in fact ultraviolent to the eyes

don't feel bad Kevs. Now tell me, what's his address #seriouslyhot

Amazing interview. I love her and the fact she will be 27 forever "It really doesn't matter what I say." yes it does babe! I guess her dad made a lot of money after or just when she was a teen. Lana is 28-29..so if you think domains got a lot of value during the early 2000's it fits with her teen years

whatever Dan says or she recorded with him...who cares?. Can we all agree those titles alone worth buying the album? Lana slays in titles and "advertisingISM" it's Lanas incredible ability to create "quotISM" . Lana has a jingle maker trapped inside her soul. My Pussy tastes like pepsi cola is just a side dish to "I fucked my way to the top" . Ultraviolence will be the album of the year! Lana and Lily Allen should do an EP together called titles

in Brazil is common to have 14-20 songs. Ivete Sangalo new album has 23 tracks , Anitta's (pop) has 32 tracks. Concerts here (of brazilian artists) usually last more too, around 2 hours.

New 'Ultraviolence' Song Title: "Money, Power, and Glory"
Viva replied to Sitar's topic in Latest News
Thankfully Adele can't sing somtehing like that and I hope she never does. Let that Gospel thing remain an American thing only and the nasal screaming as well. Keep the Mariah's and send us Adele with tons of emotion. It's all good for everyone. Also hope she never writes a song so poorly writing ...half is emotions lol Lana doesn't have Mariah's range and will never have. Lana also doesn't have Mariah's technique and never will. But Lana has better songs, more EMOTION and is visually superior to Mariah. In a age were image and sound are so combined is hard to separate one from the other Lana is better. Lana is an artist of our time and she is a great one. That doesn't take away Mariah's talent or success, she will forever be Mariah. But to me Lana is a better artist even if Mariah is a better vocalist. To me Lanas voice also sounds a lot better to my ears than Mariah's For my ears Adele is also superior to Mariah in every category: song writer, control, technique, and Adele is able to make you feel something other than just perform. So no, neither Adele or Lana can sing that Gospel/pop mess but both are superior to Mariah, at least for me. To each their own. -

ADELE -
wow caught me on the first listen. Thanks for this @@SitarHero. Phoenix is my fav , amazing. The others are great too. Me really like this Lets talk about the Bullet video too, all kind of realness going on there. She's so strange, so weird like her soft voice and that harsh (strong?) image (face) put together is awesome. Love it.

OMFG you are so amazing!! OMFG you are so funny and intelligent I bet you have a small dick as a side dish to the main course that's your brain! You little fuck, it's time someone put your sorry ass in the kitchen Your blá blá blá argument contradicts itself. So she doesn't scream because her mother, an opera singer trained her, yet she sings most of the times with technique and when she screams it's not her fault because she has problems in her vocal cords?? In the end, resuming she screams with technique trained by an opera singer and has vocal cords problems. Fuck she calls her fans Lambs for a reason. Sheep is also available you guy's should recon that as well -
Love them! His twitter account is a must read

Dear Lamb, I get what you are saying but I disagree since her vocals sound pretty clear to me. Maybe your ears are a little rusty after all those years listening to Maruah screaming LOL you do love to use that red pen of yours don't yah?? Oh when I got a warning point for arguing with HDB and using red to address you. Fun times. Do you put a red party dress on your little goat and take her for a walk in the mall? If not please do it -
Off course you need to wear a native american hairdresser and buy an extra one to give to Lana OMG I lose everything in my room. Sometimes I think it's haunted or something and eats my things or hides them. Keys, Remote controls, bags, shoes, everything goes missing. And for some odd reason is always the "thing" I need or want to wear. What irritates me most is when my room makes my cellphone charger go to neverland. That makes me nuts, I have like 3 extra chargers and still manage to find none from time to time
-
me too! Imagine my surprise after looking for a list of fanbases names and finding in the middle of the pop scene Kim Katarshian hanging in there? Just like she belongs lol I had to put her in the middle was too atrocious to let it out. Such an ironic little thing.

Viva replied to lflflflflflflflflflf's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
Lana is a giving person. She made those titles to give Lorde material for her new album. Until now Lorde has this titles: WC - The L.A Favelas Old Money - New Poor Money, Power, Glory - Food Stamps, Discount & 1$ Shop -
To top Lambs I would have to call Lana's fans Sheep. That's the only way LOL

why? put Cassie back (without 4.000 votes ) With Selenators, Lovatics and Lambs around Little Monsters sounds amazing. The problem is the little monsters themselves LOL Such a proper definition of a fanbase
