I think Beyoncé is Beezus best album. I like it as a whole and I really like a couple songs. 1. VIdeos: I can't say any of them are extraordinary but is incredible how well done, executed and visually beautiful they all are. I's Beyoncé's Tumbrl tribute: her jet set perfect life, with a dose of pain and a lot of colors and filters. Everything perfectly manicured . My favorites videos are: Blow (love it), Mine, Pretty Hurts (great message tbh), Ghost and XO 2. Heaven made me emotional and moved me. I never thought I would be moved by Beezus but I was. You can feel the torment, anger, pain and acceptance in her voice. I imagine this song is about her miscarriage and the lyrics are good but her deliver is so powerful and feels so honest I almost wanna hug her. 3. Ghost is a great song and the video is amazing. Her meh towards be perfect at the end is priceless . So sarcastic LOl 4. Blow is the hit, obviously 5. XO is the other hit and the video is how real life would be if we lived in a tumblr world 6. This is a personal album: Mine, Jeolous, Blue, Heaven...all quite personal songs 7. I need to comment a couple things about Blue video. WHY THE F#$K ALL THESE GRINGOS ONLY come to Rio to film in the Favelas?? I mean c'mon...imagine if everyone who visited London just filmed refugee Ghettos and everyone thought "Oh that's London" I mean is a part of London but for sure doesn't represent London. See my frustration? Like really bitch? A favela homenage?? OK you wanna show the favela go ahead but at least include the concret as well . That's why everyone thinks Rio is a huge slum LOL. I know for outsiders is crazy the favela been there and not hiden in a far far away neighborhood where no one sees it or acknowledges their existence but every single time is the damn favelas in the background LOL..ugh...plus her carnaval outfits...niot even gonna get into to that 8. IMO is not a lesson in music or art but in marketing, focus and discipline. 9. in my humble opinion BANGERZ is still the best pop album out this year but Beyoncé is pretty good

good one I don't mind Lorde but even who really likes her must admit her personality is quite irritating. That moment when she sings at the award show, hugs herself and doesn't even say thank you.... Lorde is far, very far away from being deserving to be compared to Lana in any sense. Actually she is 250 songs, a Ride - Video Games - National Anthem -Born To Die videos , a humble attitude and a short movie away from having the chance to be deserving the comparison. Pure Heroine is a good album tho but at least for me a couple hearings was enought to bore me to the point I can't hear it anymore. At the most she is poor man Lana's Del Rey since you know, she is not royalty and is not proud of her zip code. Yep literally Lana's poor version LOL

Not the biggest Beyoncé fan in the world but I like a couple of her songs and 4 remains a good album for me. Yet her release strategy deserves a thread even if you think Beyoncé as an album is shizz. Such a genius idea and so bold. Off course Radiohead already sold music only in their own site and Prince had that album that came with the newspaper but this has no precedent in pop. It's so amazing that doesn't really matter if Beyoncé sells millions or if the singles chart or not: the statement, the impact was made. I always asked myself how Beyoncé got the career she has since IMO her lyrics are nothing out of the extraordinary, her dance routine was done before in more creative ways by Britney and Madonna, her voice is great but many also have great or amazing voice. So I came to the conclusion that as a pop star Beyoncé is an amazing brand. Not a singer first, not a perfomer first, not a pop artist, Beyoncé is a brand. You know what brands do? They make statements and need to reinvent themselves to survive and Beyoncé did just that, in a brilliant way. I am gonna download the album out of pure curiosity and I imagine many like me will do it for this reason. Her fans will do it because is Beezus, random folks will do it to see the videos. It's not going to flop because is already successful and something tells me she has some nice tunes in there. The singles are ready to go at her choice, gives a new meaning for "on air on sale' . I think they liked Royals a lot more than Pure Heroine. Just hope or Royals wins Record of the year so Pharrel and Thicke can die a slow death tbh

Can be a strategy now that streaming counts points in the hot 100 Bilboard. Releasing this boring mess, getting the fans to ask for the directors cut and releasing a second video would double her views and get her a better chart position. Thats the only plausible thing I can think off because Perfume video is soooo boring.

Well to me was far from simplistic and comparing it to Fellini is just wrong lol. Clearly Fellini or Deren are not her influences. I would say she is a lot more influenced by Tarantino, Kurosawa and Lynch. I understood several interesting points in the movie and also gave me a better view of what Ride is all about, what she thinks about LA back than and now. Why she is a saudosista ,someone who misses a past she never actually lived, and a better look why I believe in the country America used to be is such a defining sentsence in Lanas work. I also understood that heaven is not heaven and that apple is more like the blue/red pill in Matrix than anything else. Heaven is a reality of your own creation just like religion and the choices you make. In Lana's Heaven you find a famous cowboy, MM, Elvis and Jesus. Dont we all hear since childhood God and Jesus are our best friends? Plus Dia de Los Muertos is more a joke on society than anything else. Society is dead, people are dead, souless, while they are breathing and dancing. Lana always said that she cretaed a reality for herself. This is her reality, the one she chose to live in the past, when it was better, people were not corrupted, people were kind. I think Paradise got there as a compensation mechanism. Hnestly #justiceforborntodiealbum. They really ignored her but her SA tour did her good tbh.
