At this point Interscope wishes they had controlled Gaga's career and mouth. Her career would probably be in a better shape. Applause is catchy as hell and Donatella and Manicure are great, besides that Artpop is crap. You can't possibly think that album with the titles as shown was a label influencing Gaga and not Gaga getting her way. It's far from commercial pop and radio friendly as it can be, we are talking about America here and I can't see radios playing or being able to give radio time to songs like Swine or Sexx Dreams. Gaga also did a collab with a pedo, that probably made her marketing team want to commit collective suicide. Cheek to Cheek is a good album, credit should be given when credit is deserved. UV is another album far from radio friendly in US, actually most of Lana's material is not what US radio craves, what I don't get is how she and her team don't get that. I'm not saying for her to change in any way, just saying Lana should've understand by now that 90% of her material is not single radio material and critics wont praise her as much as she wants and deserves. About the mentor, I have no idea who is this mentor you talk about. Who is?? Anyway, I think Gaga and Lana share a lot of similarities for many reasons, including music background. They probably have a similar CD collection. Both are visual artists, with a underground NY in their veins, both have huge mouths capable of spill some iconic BS and play the victim after seeing that the iconic sentences was in fact BS and both are very talented. Both craved and crave fame, both crave to be deserving of such fame in different directions, but relevance, applause and credibility is fundamental for both. The Fame Monster bites both in the ass when they saw that for critics pop artists are Born to Die. I think Lana always craved (a lot) fame. Thing is that's not ALL she craves, in Lana's case is a little more complex then someone like Kim K or Paris Hilton because she also craves being deserving of such fame. The fame Lana craves is not empty or fame for fame, she wants and craves fame with credibility and approval. The approval and credibility comes in the form of recognition of her work and her as a person and artist. The fame she craves needs approval from the public, the industry, critics, needs credibility and substance because that's how she sees her art and that's how she wants to be seen: credible and most of all relevant. She wants to be famous because of her music, others to consider her music/art as beautiful as she does. That's another one of her addictions, that in my opinion, highly influence her work: Beauty. She's addicted to beauty as well. If what she considers beauty is for your or my taste, that's another story. But her addiction to beauty is undeniable: her description of landscapes as beautiful, her description of man, her own description, the way she describes America beauty as a culture/country in the past and the contrast with the present. Her words of beauty also need to combine with beautiful visuals, hence why her videos are carefully crafted, even the ones we consider shit like the Iphone video or the Poltergeist video. A credible, relevant artist with beautiful videos and beautiful voice and lyrics, that' how she wants to be perceived. Fame for fame is not what she craves, would be a lot easier for her to be satisfied is was just that, since isn't I guess we will see her get annoyed for the rest of her album releases. I personally believe her as I think no one in their right mind would make such abominable accusations for the sake of getting out of a contract. 2012. During my entire school life in a catholic school, lunch was disgusting and balanced (no salt), and you had to eat everything on your plate before being allowed to get up of the table. The beef /meat was so tick that sometimes when I tried to cut a piece end up in someone's else's plate or the floor, was like trying to cut thick rubber. Even the vegetables and salad sauce was organic and balanced, tasted like nothing. Didn't even make a difference if was broccoli or cauliflower, since both tasted the same: liek nothing. EWWWWWW. Not even gonna get into the chocolate and candy they sell ...ORGANIC. You smoke a joint and get the munchies and you are fucked if you forget to buy something before hit school because those sweeties ain't gonna fix you. Kesha wants to break her contract for a long time, it's not something she wants "now". If I'm not wrong she wants to stay away from him since the release of her first album. You know what I find reallyyyyyy strange? Her mom behavior. I mean, one thing is a victim of horrid sexual abuse be quiet and react in strange ways. I do believe in "Innocent Until proven Guilty" and I do believe in not putting Dr.Luke in a cross or hanging him at the moment. But I also think that Kesha is telling the truth. Probably took her years to be able to talk about or even acknowledge the terrible and abominable things that happened to her. Since she was in rehab I imagine she got there the support and courage she needed to be able to finally tell her story. . "The most incendiary allegations revolve around sexual abuse — specifically, how Dr. Luke allegedly forced her to snort illegal drugs and gave her "sober pills," which Kesha says were really a form of gamma-hydroxybutyrate, more commonly known as the date rape drug.
