well that’s mostly because that demo is very raw and has very little vocal production or layering (and lowkey sounds like its recorded on her iphone’s garageband app) whereas the remastered album version has plenty of both

lana’s singing style mostly is a slurry mumbling whisper mess since (mid) uv tbh she could never serve paradise tour heart shaped box or even studio ride high note nowadays which is probably the most annoying thing about the new songs as well. i know she does it as a stylistic device and for “aesthetic” and her elvis reverb clap back whatever style but it just sounds like she forgot how to open her mouth sometimes, i’m honestly not surprised people still belittle her vocal delivery and don’t take it seriously when she kinda does it to herself.

most delivering comanies ship their orders eaely, amazon preorders have been the source for “leaks“ for almost a decade now.

yes this is exactly why elle shouldn't be the only person completely in charge of this, i know she bought this but there should be back up systems in place for theses sort of things, i mean especially since she bought this and invested like half a fortune in this, it should be of interest to her to be sure this website runs smoothly even if she's unable to be online 24/7 or even for more than a week/month if she needs to. i have never said she should neglect her mental health.

while i do understand i feel like the mods on here are understaffed or either don't have enough power sometimes, how long do we sometimes need to wait for even the smallest things like.. NFR tour finally getting its own section, or for a post to get deleted or taken down after being reported for like hours... there's been multiple complaints of people not being able to get back their accounts or reset their password for months. a forum with this amount of traction LB gets should have a bigger range of staff and elle shouldn't be like the only one who's abled to do certain admin things as she apparently appears to be sometimes. i really like some mods on here and enjoy their posts and personalities but i mean this isn't even an attack on them and they should be able to take in criticism especially when it's not just users trashing them but wanting to improve the current place of LB, it's just a fact that things get messy on here a lot and additionally to that it's pretty clear that this website has a history with random errors and issues that come up every now and then.

NFR's hope for a good spot on the charts was lowkey dead once they announced the release date (and even a bit earlier tbh) i still wish her well though rip
