Why not just play it as is then play a couple of her old songs, then play it again which then achieves more. (and doesn't let those other artists piggyback off of her).

 

(Also while I am never too negative against other artists, there is one artist that made a surprise US release this week that is an artist I cannot stand and never in a billion years would I listen to the crap that artist has released in the past and future and that same artist makes me cringe every Christmas time with the song she outright stole from Vince Vance and the Valients. (and theirs is a zillion times better and came first)  (A big shout out to Vince & Lisa) that song is yours alone.)

You're right I think that would achieve more, but doing this will move it up in positions of the playlist which will help other people who may not know Lana discover her

Why would I want to stream it from someones playlist when I could give 2 shits about the other songs getting credit for being played?

In fact, like in elections that have vote for 2 or 3, one never should vote for a second,  the best way for one specific song to go up, stay up, is specifically not play the other

songs.  That in effect, means  a bigger than 1 to 1 ratio it becomes more productive.

Is this similar to the New Music Friday playlist that updates every week (or is this what you're talking about)? MAC was on it today, and VB/Song 2 will probably be on next Friday's. Being on that playlist two weeks in a row would be a pretty big deal for her. I'm sure there are people like me who listen to the playlist every week to discover new songs/artists, so hopefully she'll gain a few fans (or at least, attention) by being on it. I feel like so many people still only know her from BTD era, and many would be surprised/pleased at her recent sound.

So y'all do we think Mariners is the lead? If it is it's doing not so great on the charts lol (yes I know Lana doesn't care about charts blah blah blah). I have a feeling this can't be the lead because Lana's leads are usually the most commerical tracks on the album and this doesn't seem like that

So I guess it's pretty obvious that the MAC video is reused footage? As someone pointed out earlier, her dancer sang happiness is a butterfly at one point and Lana was lip syncing to something else at another scene. I love the song and I'm so thankful we're getting amazing new music but when will she stop reusing scrapped footage, it's messy and disappointing...And I guess this means happiness is a butterfly could be scrapped? Or else she'd just save this video for the release of that...But it's lana so you never know, it might still be on there lmao.

idk the way she phrased it "end of summer jams" it makes them sound very stand-alone. I feel like like these songs were made before the august sessions because it looks like they shot the vid for it in July, so I predict we'll get a lead single somewhere in early/mid 2019 

so...ladies!  looks like it finally happened, Cardiovascular Bronchitis and the "queen" of rap Nicki Minaj got into a physical fight and it didn't actually get too physical because of security and what not.

 No promo can get you to be nom for Grammy IMO, which means it's a good album. 

I don't think having a grammy nom means an album is good, because look at the album that won that category, they chose the album that sold the most and it feels like that's what they've been doing lately, the award show feels like a popularity contest for music
