    Ok fuck only from about one (1) hour ago I've started craving not only new lana music, but an entirely new era with new visual concepts, interviews and looks

    Prior to this, I was living a normal life content with all that lana has provided for us

    Normally when this happens, it makes the wait for the next album feel about 100x longer and I become desperate and this occupies my brain and I almost go into cardiac arrest every time she even hints towards anything new

    Thankfully, this has happened 8 months after the release of LFL, whereas with Honeymoon it happened about a week later thus making the wait for lfl a long long long drag

    However, this also means I will begin scrutinising every single thing she does yet again, in search of clues and will create ridiculous release scenarios [coachella - woodstock] in my mind

    Sigh, my body is ready

    It's gonna be a long ride sis, buckle up!

    Y'all let's start predicting when the era will officially start!

     

    So the tour ends April 20 and I predict it'll take 3 months to make, if she's making another cohesive project like Honeymoon:

     

     

     

     

    Lead single teaser: August 25

     

    Lead single release: September 14

     

    Second single: October 3

     

    Album release: October 18

     

     

     

     

    Or if Lana's mind space shifts (like with LFL and the US political climate) or just wants to take longer with it:

     

     

     

    Lead single teaser: January 12

     

    Lead single release: January 21

     

    Second single: February 17

     

    Album release: March 2

     

     

    I think there'll be signs that show if lana will be taking longer with the project like posting about things that are affecting her or no details on it by September

    like imagine her writing this. her poli songs weren't boring.. just too vague, not straightforward. Someone here said that pulling out a Bob Dylan would be weird yes, but she didn't reach the middle where these themes would comfortably sit in her discography. One could feel as if she wrote these songs to be #relevant (which wasn't the purpose of couse )

     

    this is the reason why I wish Lana would o side B's on her albums. Sometimes Lana's album outtakes end up being better than alot of the album tracks.

    lmao I know that but it's not like she literally wrote the whole thing about him and towards the end of the relationship she seemed pretty upset based off so I just thought her happiness is more important than a UV 2.0. But then again I don't see LFL as a significant downgrade from those albums

    I think an artist should grow as they create new works if art and they shouldn't keep doing the same thing their whole life because it would get boring. Lana's sound definitely evolved from BTD-HM but her perspective stayed the same and if she keeps singing about her past lover's won't it get kinda repetitive? You can see Lana tried experimenting with her song writing with LFL and in some places it worked out well (for example change is a great political song) and it fell short at some parts. But this is something that happens when you try something new. So I'm glad LFL happend because this means Lana will get better at political songs next time around and will broaden her song writing for the next album imo. And I love songs like cherry and white mustang but I think her music should be balanced with songs with more perspective and I think Lana will figure out how to balance her albums so they won't be messy like LFL was

    Call Out My Name sounds like a less cheap Die For You but thinking that it's about Selena Gomez ruins the song for me

    it doesn't have to be about her, It could be about any lover he's had before or currently, it's not like Selena was his one and only girlfriend lol

    Sorry I like the song but this is not lead single or video worthy at ALL! It can be the Change of the album

    hopefully she finds some erratic new inspiration halfway through the recording process and changes course to become something completely different because HIAB just seems like the predictable next step

    idk this song seems alot more catchy than change. Maybe this is a demo and it'll get more production because it sounds unfinished because you can hear the vocals seem like two tracks improperly stitched together when she sings "into moonlight"
