The hums at the beginning of the SB demo version, i don't like them at all. Since it seems like she's singing without a pop shield it's like she's exhaling right into the mic through her nose.

Does anyone else think it sounds like lana is singing without a pop-shield on SB? Feel like I can hear her breathing into the mic, "can't" in "can't escape my affection", "feel" in "feeling in my bones" has a big pop of air, some other spots too (don't be a bummer babe, every b is super plosive)

I imagine GL in the same vein as "Is it wrong?" where the relationship only exists as a fantasy in her head, and not in reality. And rockys verse is what she imagines the performer would say to her. I know it's a reach lol but it gives the song a new perspective

Im a bit unfamiliar with the releases as far as when New Zealand gets it and when the rest of us do- when is the earliest we could expect to get the singles? Midnight on the 12th NZ time? Do artists generally release by time zone and not a worldwide release all at once?

listened to the GL snippet on a better set of headphones, made all the difference. I can hear what the hype is about now.

If the two singles to come are the ASAP collabs, im actually quite excited. Someone on here speculated about a gapless transition with an accompanying video, and I think that would just be amazing. Ridin is such a great collab, probably one of my all time favorites, so having two ASAP bops at the same time would be great. And if they're "bop" enough to get sent to radio (eclipse speculated about radio edits, though I wonder if they might be video edits) then all the better. My hype for the album still hasn't recovered but I can say I am eagerly awaiting to see what the 12th brings. (Knowing Lana though, perhaps I should keep my hopes conservative!)
