this is one i don’t understand because the Lucky Ones demo was still cohesive with the rest of the album, actually even more cohesive, i don’t know why any of them thought it was necessary to change it so much. the released version feels more a part of Paradise than BTD honestly

he has an active account apparently 😭 he just explained himself on twitter and said that the 129 outtakes thing was a misunderstanding and it was actually 129 mixes of the title track, and that Fine China/YTH Auerbach versions were pure speculation on his part. the 129 thing is fair, but regarding Fine China/YTH i just don’t understand why he talked about them like truth  y’all have seen the way i’ve campaigned for those songs lmfaoooo

when i’m pushing 70 in the nursing home and see “Interscope Records announces 50th anniversary edition of Lana Del Rey’s cult classic 2014 album Ultraviolence” and just flatline then and there

i thought she was 100% going to drop 10 year anniversary editions of all her albums with the best of the leaked/unreleased material, especially considering the unreleased album she was planning never happened, but after we got nothing even for BTD 10 i’m scared it’s never gonna happen or is only gonna happen for the like 50 year anniversary editions like Joni Mitchell just did lmfaoooo

Fine China DA Version will always be my #1 most anticipated leak but Pink Champagne might just have to be put in spot 2

although the fact that the song was originally called Pink Champagne makes a lot of sense for UV era considering it’s slang for molly lmfao, i wonder if the bridge was originally the chorus or something

it’s so crazy to me how LMLYLAW is so old, the lyrics scream 2019-2021 lana. which is probably why she brought it back lol, but that’s still just so surprising. i can’t imagine her writing “I come from a small town, how 'bout you? / I only mention it 'cause I'm ready to leave LA and I want you to come / Eighty miles north or south will do / I don't care where as long as you're with me” before she wrote like Shades of Cool and Sad Girl lol, unless the lyrics have changed a lot over the years as well

we don’t have the Dan Auerbach version of ITTJ unfortunately 

i really don’t understand why most artists don’t just share this information themselves, people really do genuinely care about it and it can extend the life of an album cycle drastically. like imagine an artist doing a little newsletter thing where they send an essay per month on how 1 song from the album came to be and attach pictures from making it, mention specific writing and recording dates, share downloads to a few demos, etc etc. i don’t know if they just don’t care to or don’t realize how many fans are interested in hearing about the creative process

when there’s an actual Dan Auerbach version of FMWUTTT sitting on a hard drive somewhere unreleased and unbeknownst to us… i always thought FMWUTTT sounded quite different than the other songs Dan A did on that album, but then again so does his MPG version
