  1. How dare you include Body Electric though, that's one of her best :icant:

Right? It's such an amazing song! The lyrics, production, vocals, the live performances (  :delish: ) are so fuckin' good!! :flutter:  But now I'm really curious: why the fuck people don't like Body Electric??? Like, it's on my top 3 favorite Lana songs along with Cruel World and Blue Jeans, for fuckin' sake! Honestly...  :pls:

    her new description on instagram.

"Solve et coagula" means something like destroying the old bad things and use the good parts of it to do something new (and better).

what do u guys think that she will do?

I honestly thought that the new description of her instagram wasn't related with the her album anymore after she changed. I was sure Subversive was related, but with this one, I didn't feel.  :um3: I thought it was more about her since it's her bio, must talk about who she is (you can put anything there tho  . It's your insta.). I connected with, not just the quote about the guru, but also with this quote at the moment you said the highlighted phrase:

“Bad things happen everyday but you’re not going to be any happier thinking about them. So I don’t think about them.”

So I thought she was just talking about herself. Like, she destroys the bad things and takes the good things about her life and transform in art? I don't know, you all interpret the way you want.  However, Subversive means "trying to destroy or damage something", right? It has something to do with the new bio. And since Subversive def is related with her album (Eclipse said she described as "Subversive"), this new bio is related. So then I associated with:

"Yeah... but I don't know if you'd really know 'cause it has more to do with just like...I don't know... a clarity of inner dialogue that I feel is coming through better."

There.  :point: Things may have changed since she said that, but who knows?  :whatever2: But then I made another theory: the bios are the process of making the album. "Subversive" was when she was destroying and now "Solve et coagula" is the chapter when she "did the harvest". So...the album is close to finish?  :raven: And the last theory (hopefully): I kind of associated the new bio with Paradise and Tropico because of that review made by @. So...I don't really like to say "*insert album*2.0!", but...maybe a similar concept?  :lel:

    Okay, basically:

    1. If the bio has something to do with the album (Again, she described the album as "Subversive") and the bio is supposedly to talk about yourself, the album will have the inner dialogue she spoke about it (So kind of GKIT-ish lyrics?).

1.2. It will have similar concept of Paradise and Tropico.

    2. The bios are just the process of the album.

    3. Nothing really to do with the album, she's just describing who she is.  :lel:

It's a little messy because I was excited, but I tried.  :fact: I just wanted to share what I thought and hear more speculations, please!  :yesnod:

  3. Can someone explain to me why UV is black though?

I was torn betwwen grey and black. But I choosed black because UV has a very heavy and deep vibe because of the violent guitars and, of course, the word "Ultraviolence". It's that state of depression when it's not even blue (sad) anymore. It's black already (I can't explain the feeling. It's kind of something full of rage for everything, IMO). At least that's how I feel.  :lel:

  4. i was once into serial killers/mass shooters (the darkest side of tumblr) - it was very fascinating actually and i still remember some "fun facts" that i love to share in the middle of conversations :D since child i was also interested in creepy things - witches, monsters etc. also my culture is kinda dark (slavic culture is soooo fascinating unfortunately christians destroyed a lot of stuff and we don't know much about our pagan history :( )

i also love horror movies, you can guess i hate being home alone at night :toofunny:

Yeah! There was this time I was completely addicted with documentaries about Serial Killers. The first one that I watched was about Charles Manson (The Manson family, especifically). I discovered through the conspiracy theory that JFK killed Marilyn Monroe (I can't remember that tho :toofunny: ) and I remember of how shook I was with Tate-LaBianca, I think I was 10 years old. I never searched about slavic culture, maybe I could in another occasion, seems very interesting  :smile2: . I love horror movies too! I still trying to get my excitment to do stuff again, but I would love to watch some movies! The only movie series I ever watched completely was Chucky and both The Ring movies (I saw they made a third one  :raven: ), but I was interested in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Scream (watched the 4th and the 1st one) and The Grudge.

Edit: Oh yeah, I watched all the Psicose movies, tho it's not exactly horror, but ok.  :toofunny:

  5. well Lana was always kinda fascinated by cult/occult stuff:

Body Electric is sooo creepy actually, "Gods & Monsters" as well

also "Freak", "Religion" gave me Charles Mansons vibes :creepna:

Lana loves being dark/creepy and i wouldn't mind LDR5 being like that - an album about madness (?), i think her albums are actually getting madder and madder:

    BTD - 'dark' lyrics

    PARADISE - creepy aura

UV - lyrics even darker, music less creepy than on PARADISE but still..Flipside is kinda scary IMO

HM - my mom literally said this album is good for 'killing yourself'

    let's wait for LDR5...

I can understand that from her, the dark side is very interesting! I think you get more curious about something when people say to "don't go to the woods", I'm gonna put like that. I used to search a lot about the supernatural and other dark things, like creepypastas, deep web, conspiracy theories, serial killers, etc. It's very fascinating to see all those stuff!  :flutter:  I would like to search about it again, it was very enjoyable and I learned some things that I unfortunately forgot.  :rollin:
