Yes, the album is definitely finished, however that doesn't mean that the release date will be May just because the album is done doesn't mean the release date can't be July. Until Lana says otherwise I think just presume July is correct tbh? Paris Match had an interview with Lana herself, I don't see how they would have an incorrect date published when they had the artist there herself who would have surely corrected them?

She usually posts her photoshoots to instagram so hopefully later today she'll do that and include a confirmation of the release date! Also, at least we found out now instead of waiting till the 26th and being disappointed when nothing came?

I love how happy she sounds! Even when talking about the critics now she seems to laugh it off, she's definitely in a much better place within herself. I love the quote "My records are like love letters to myself." what a lovely way to think about her albums!

The photoshoot is lovely! And I'm disappointed not to be able to listen to the album during my trip to America in late June - early July, but July 21st isn't an unbearable wait at all? We'll obviously be getting a bit more album info in upcoming interviews and she has a music video coming out soon and probably one or two more singles!

Singles can be released after an album release though, right? Like I don't think even if Tomorrow Never Came is a single necessarily means the album won't come 26th? The more I think about it the more likely WTWWAWWKD will be on the album imo? Well, I have a song that’s quite aware about the collective worry, about whether this is the end of an era. It’s called “When the world was at war we kept dancing.” But I actually went back and forth about keeping it on the record, because I didn’t want it there if it would make people feel worse instead of better. ^ She says "I have" why would she say that if she decided to take it off the final track list? I think she's just saying she had doubts about keeping it there because it was a dark song? The only reason she mentions thinking of removing it is, as she says, she "didn't want it there if it would make people feel worse"? It's clear with this album she's wanting to send out love and positive energy with her work so she was concerned if this song would give a wrong message, that's the only reason she had doubts. Why would she say "I have a song" about a song that isn't on the album? Why go into this amount of detail over a song she removed from her album?

God Bless America sounds amazing omg... described as an anthem, with a New York feel... I'm so ready for this track!

Well I like the song so I'm gonna add it to the album as a bonus track on my itunes anyway But yeah, now we know the song won't be on the album I feel more confident that the album will still most likely be released on the 26th! Well I like it, and that's all that matters to me! Everyone has there own opinions and that's what makes life interesting, but I'm glad I like it, I hate the feeling of not enjoying something an artist I like releases!

I love the lyrics! She had a lovely time at Coachella and felt happy and loved and she wants us all to feel that way even though she knows that she and a lot of people around the world are scared of the future and the things going on in the world right now, such a beautiful sentiment! The line about her words become birds and the birds bringing her thoughts of loving and being loved to us is perhaps one of my favourite Lana lines tbh, it sounds beautiful and the meaning behind it is so cute!
