Best song is definately pink diamond-rapped none autontuned vocals, metal chorus, garage production on the verses the ending wew. Forever, I finally understand are my other favourites. Party 4 u is cute but I felt like she could of mixed the beat to hit harder like the live outro and I wanted shoutier vocals. I also like enemy's guitar it kinda sounds like a soundcloud rapper fronting the cure weirdly enough. All in all if she dives more into the sounds of forever, pink diamond, I finally understand I'm ready to bring my Stan status back after I kinda unstanned during pop 2 era

Think she'll probs scrap the janet album and create a nine inch nails album tbh seems like where her direction is leading less janet vibes I get.

it's interesting because it's format is all over the place on whether it wants to be a docu or reality TV, although very likely scripted or charli just likes causing shit lmao it's weird how they all have to live in the same house and that she didn't pick people based on musical ability-probably their personalities for ratings? And I felt for chloe the other women backed her up and then acted like she was the parriah when the blame fell on her, she does have an ego and can be childlike but seems sweet-I really didn't like how charli pushed her to get back with nasty cherry because she didn't want the project to be a failure. I Admire charlis business tactics despite their failure though.

The sound has just not been interesting on claws, I genuinely liked forever it wasn't amazing but was cute with decent lyrics, great production and I liked the way she played with her vocals with the tune differently for once. Claws to me has no experimentation its charli on autopilot she repeats a phrase ten times, uses some tuned rapped verses cue edm breakdown near end song over. The greatest loss has been her lyricism, it doesnt have to be basic-every release its not as striking as her unreleased songs from when she was getting older and true romance and sucker had that lyrical quality which she has lost.

Sucker was a bubblegum pop album with strong punk and new wave influences.

I just didn't see the appeal of the album, cross you out sounded like a bad TR rehash it was a cute attempt but didn't work for me,click just sounds a dated soundcloud rap attempt on arrival. If you're gonna do rap/hip hop you need to commit.

Bored so reviewing charles albums: 14: Not much to say-very cheaply made and it shows, cute acoustic guitars and electronic influences though with her vocals being better than most of her material, the album shows promise. 5/10 True romance: Her most unique soundscape to me sonically. She really found a way to mix 80s the cure with hip hop beats and nostalgic synths. I love her vocally on this record aswell especially with the spoken word pieces, it's very vulnerable she was at her best at this time with her voice and could actually sing live, her lyrical content was also at her peak. 9/10 near perfect. Super ultra mixtape: Basically an extension of the True Romance sound although a little more to the beat based side and dreamier I could see this appealing to the edgy "Rapper fans", it's very moody and beautiful. 7/10 Heartbreaks and earthquakes: Im going to get flak for this but I do not care for this record whatsoever, the songs are mostly just TR songs in demo format with the new songs being good yet not TR or SU tier despite having a similar sound. 5/10 Sucker: Everyone despises this record, but her lyrical content besides the singles was still interesting and her vocals had not yet gotten in significant decline, the record may be top 40 pandering in the latter part but still had a unique standpoint with it mixing pop punk and new wave songs with the more straightforward bubblegum pop fare. 6/10 VROOM VROOM: A fan favourite and its easy to see why, this is where she really grabbed the attention of her new fan base-the sounds were bubblegum yet hard and met allic though I feel she had not got the point of making the sound her own yet, it's definately a sophie project at its core. 6/10 Number 1 Angel: You can definately see this project as a summary of all her sounds-it's definately her most diverse record with something in it for everyone-its weakest point is arguably what makes it appealing with its uncohevsiveness and lack of structure. 8/10 Pop 2: Probably her biggest throwback to True romance to date although PC-Fied although it's certainly a big evolution, my biggest gripe with this mixtape is the autotune and mixing though understand its part of the Pc appeal-the features here can get out of control sometimes aswell which carries onto the next album. 7/10 Charli: Im gonna get a lot of criticism for this and like anything it's personal preference but this album is near unlistenable to me. I really did try to love it but it's just not smart with the production like the horrid henry esque opener(next level charli) it plays to charlis worst tastes and makes her sound like a bland femmerobot whereas pop 2 could carry the autotune off due to its experimental nature, charli does not get off so easily as its lyrics are banal, she frequently enunciates like the most generic of soundcloud rappers and the collabs detract rather than add to any songs. 1/10

Why does next level charli remind me of Horrid henry?
  20. I thought she was a vegetarian? And her trip hop Bridge stuck out so much, these are the kind of songs she should be serving it reminded me of portishead and massive attack. Obv only lanas part

I feel like I'm the only person who didn't enjoy the album, her soundcloud rapper vocals really weren't for me and the production wasn't crazy enough to offset it personally but I'm glad she got to fulfill her artistic vision and I hope the album does well.
  23. She's such a mess like we haven't been craving collabs with alt pop girls for years and now she's collabing with these and taylor probably LMFAO. I don't actually have anything against miley but this is such a bizarre mix.
