I'll give it a listen, I dislike her fake deep persona and mostly cringe fans but she's a teen and human so it's understandable that she behaves like that-though the only songs I've heard from her that I actually found interesting were Bury a friend and you should see me in a crown. yeah I get more dark cinematic soundtrack vibes off something like requiem for a dream or a horror film not hearing any 70s psych rock vibes at all.

The other version better be mixed better with better lyrics hopefully because this could be a masterpiece if done properly but it kinda feels like a demo personally.

the melody is all over the place, there's no catchy hook and it has no memorability or anything within it that is innovative to the music industry-take for example songs like umbrella by rihanna or even primadonna girl all she had to do was add empowering lyrics that hint at her past transgressions like handmade heaven.I just can't see how this represents her best work subjectively when I feel like you don't have to dumb your lyrics down to be happy, look at lily Allen for example there's still her personality input on those songs-I don't see any on the new songs they could of been done by zebra larsson.

Yeah I've defended her, but the only highlight is handmade heaven she needs better lyricism and clearly when it comes to happy songs she's out of practice there's none of her wit in orange trees at all its just bland. If I could erase every year after 2015 in terms of lanas career I would, the quality of the songs has remained mostly but every release schedule,performance and visual has mostly been mediocre and disorganised.

shes made TONS of bad decisions with her career, if she and her managers had any kind of goals/business sense she could of enjoyed a career bigger than most out there all while retaining her unique sound but that's another topic.
