You know if you mention Lana in here-111 gets riled up But yes Melanie had a very cute airy voice that floated on tracks and now you can hear her voice cracking a lot on the album unless her vocals were just not produced well. I hope she seeks a vocal coach because her voice has never sounded healthy to me with the amount of air but it was pleasant and she could hit notes.

Because debut albums especially by pop leaning artists like sky(though she has a lot of rock in her music too) are usually quite sh*t- night time my time hasn’t aged amazingly compared to ghost EP but it was good enough.

I can agree her overall voice sounds more resonant when higher but she doesn’t really push it at all and the voice being thinner(I’m surprised people think her gods and monsters tone isn’t thick) is due to heavy falsetto mix.
