This. And I love the interview as a whole, it's just the essence of Lana ^^ . And she likes French culture (Serge Gainsbourg!), that's something kinda interesting for me and gets me thinking once again that Lana could be my kindred spirit.

Indeed, all that's been happening there is inhumane. The whole Ukrainian issue is generally fucked . And the western media WERE talking about it, at least so it seemed to me because there was the time when they were dealing with Ukrainian situation a lot on CNN, I could read the news on English language websites etc. I admit, though, their interest burnt out after a while and it was pretty much to be predicted. Polish media are still up with at least of some of this stuff - but then, we are very close to Ukraine and the US, why should they give a fuck, they relativily safe from Vladimir Putin's crazy ideas. And what's really bothering me is not the media activity. It's the western governments' activity. Because all those presidents, premiers etc. could declare how much "united" with Ukraine they feel but their empty words will not free that country and will not save next lives that may yet to be taken. At the beginning of Russian interference in the Crimea, soldiers having appeared there, Putin said they were not his militarians but some random guys in disguise who'd gotten their militarian clothes in a shop. Maybe to you it does sound normal and adequate but for me it was just a kind of a creepy joke all along. The saddest thing is still to be said... No one's gonna do a real thing about. And not that I'm really blaming anyone. I'm just depressed to see the western countries are going to let Russia seize whatever's its caprice. If only Russia was not involved, then maybe someone would do a thing about the Ukrainian goverment (which is, as you remarked, not a bright issue either) but if it is, no one will dare to.

Dunno. I saw one person suspect it (as interpetation of the "Mademoiselle Juliette" vid, Alizée's DALS performances with Tal and some other vids) but Lilly herself never said it. I personally highly doubt it - I think she did desire to taste a lesbian kiss ("MJ Director's Cut"), yet nothing serious. Hell knows what we'll learn about her from this album, though... And it's possible that song is not necessarily connected with her being bisexual. Could be some chemical thing. If she has a track named "Alcaline", then why not.

@@slang I got to know about Nicole thanks to Emilie Autumn's forum... And the users there compare her with LDR (particularly, because of their voices - Nicole is supposed to sound like "a more childish Lana") as well so this association must be caused not only by thinking of Lana all the time. I too fancy they're similar, at least in a few ways. ND reminds of Lana's pre-fame days. Sonically - especially when it comes to "Sirens". And I think there's something similar about sexuality in their songs, although I got problems with naming it >.< . Of course, Nicole is way more expressive for that matter but when it comes to "Boarding School" or "Behind Closed Doors"... Well.

Nope. :( I'd be SO on the cloud nine if there were. I don't live in Germany but actually for me it takes longer to get to Warsaw than to Berlin . Damn sweet dreams... Find me crazy but I've been thinking about going on December, for it's her first big tour since 2003. Well actually thanks to Lana's "Lucky Ones" I learned that "it was good to be crazy" so... Still hard to make it, though - moooney. Ticket prices are all right but the transport etc. >.< It's said to be released on June 2 but no officially comfirmed date. But we do know the album is due to be called "Blonde" and have a cover art like this: Of course, they still can change it. But last year, before her previous album was released, they'd revealed the cover and then changed it only a bit, moving the writing "5" into another position.
