I get the sense the album itself isn't affected by the theft other than the fear of leaks. It happened two months ago, and Ben has said album complete and album coming soon since then so I don't think we have to worry about the music being gone. Lots of people work on it so she wouldn't be the only person with those files. The book and home video footage sadly are a different story.

I actually liked it a lot more than I expected. It had way more restraint than normal and I much prefer naked men and homosexuality to gratuitous gore. We'll see if they can actually handle the themes they're trying to tackle (unlikely) but I thought the sleazy 80s New York atmosphere was great. I'm intrigued by the killer who I just finished watching in a lovely show called Somebody Somewhere in a very different role so I'm excited to see what he brings to this show.

Lana is such a beautiful and classy person both inside and out. The way she expressed herself yesterday with such strength and clarity while dealing with such a loss and invasion of privacy is so impressive. Then the decision to delete the reels shortly after, knowing that they would be easily accessible elsewhere online but she didn't need the negativity to remain as a part of her page is very telling of the kind of person she is. I also really loved how she said "even if what I’m left with is just my innermost thoughts, I accept that" It's such a healthy and admirable mindset that is not easy to attain and I applaud her. What a sweet angel <3

The fact that she didn't even let Lana do the "it's coming down" part is wild to me. Like Lana is this hushed whispering in the background the whole song almost like she represents the snow, and then the outro could have been her one time to shine as the actual snow. It still wouldn't have been enough because she should've gotten a verse, but it would at least have been something and creatively made sense.

Dirt Femme is much better tbh

It's surprisingly bad I'm not a huge fan of hers but I loved Folklore and a lot of Evermore so I expected this to be good but it's very generic and a lot of the lyrics are so cringe. That being said, it was still enjoyable in a bad movie kind of way and I can see it growing on me for sure. I'll be shocked if this gets good reviews though.

Omg this is so upsetting! I can't even imagine how she feels, losing the whole book that she's written and her home videos must be extremely distressing. The new music too but at least that's backed up by others so let's hope no asshole leaks it. I know leaks are a complicated topic and I love an old leak as much as anyone, but I would never condone leaking upcoming material that hasn't been completely scrapped. Poor Lana, she's such a sweetheart.

I'm shocked by how poor the lyrics are tbh with Lana getting a writing credit, I hope that was more symbolic and she was just nodding along to Taylor's suggestions because this song is not well written imo

Same but I'd probably wait until the song was released to express my excitement about working with her. Surely she knew people would be overly hyped and then disappointed, so I'm not sure what she hoped to accomplish there.

I'm kinda speechless The melody is pretty though basic, it may grow on me a bit but the lyrics are cheesy. Why did Taylor get so excited about promoting Lana if she's hardly even in the song? I don't think I would've even noticed that she was on it if I hadn't known, and the few times you can hear Lana if you try really hard to she sounds poorly mixed in and a little random and lost Manifesting that LDR9/10 sounds nothing like this.

Ya I wouldn't put much weight into this new fake info but I also don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Lana releases the cover album this Christmas to build hype before dropping her magnum opus.

Probably fake but increased fake descriptions do tend to happen as we get closer to something real LDR X (LDR9 is covers album) Mix of R&B/dream pop similar to Kali Uchis sonically except with orchestra, piano, and guitar modulators used by jack antanoff to create a literal siren sound Entire album is best described as unhinged yet beautiful - feels like a better executed version of Blue Banisters (though I still wish she'd kept that album as a western record)
