I like the "Lock You Up" demo better, the "How Can I" demo better, the "Grins" version from Heartbreaks and Earthquakes better, "So Far Away" from Heartbreaks and Earthquakes better, the single version of "Stay Away" better... Kill myself. Still annoys me at how some changes were made; my opinion is probably uncommon but a lot of changes made in her songs to make final versions were just unnecessary because the earlier mixes were good enough and final sounding already. I hope she keeps "SuperLove" as it is when she releases the second album!

It's funny that you've asked because I've been wondering that too. Not many videos from the Vampire Weekend support tour have been made available but from the ones that have, I saw that she stopped performing songs like "I'm on Top," "Can't Say No" and the others that were supposed to be on I Will but are not on Night Time, My Time. She probably removed them from the set-list so she could add "I Blame Myself," "Nobody Asked" and "Heavy Metal Heart." (I am still hoping we get a deluxe version of the album with the old songs as bonus tracks but I'm not really expecting it to happen.)

Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Jord replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
I agree with @@Whoopiedoo on Lana's music being easily accessible, and this is the reason why so many people think she has a lot of unreleased music (when a lot of artists probably have just as much, the only difference being that their songs don't surface every week). Something else that should be pointed out too, I think, is that Lana's hard-drive has been accessed, which means that we also have access to music that wasn't even recorded in studio (like the countless a cappella demos). I bet there are a lot of artists that record voice memos that would eventually become finalized demos/songs in studio but those don't leak easily as they're stored in personal devices. -
Every time I read or see interviews with Sky, or see her live videos, I always feel so blessed to love her as much as I do and to always be there as a supporter. She is so honest about what she does, and just like @@National Anthem, I can relate to her about so many aspects (perfectionism, honesty, self-awareness and a lot else) that I love her even more because Sky is kind of a famous reflection of who I am? I don't know. Her personality is a blessing and inspirational, and her music is able to talk about so many things in so many ways, it's great. I love it so much because every time I listen to some of her songs it seems that I'm the one who wrote them because she's seriously able to express (most of the times) my feelings almost exactly.

I wouldn't say I regret donating money to buy it from that guy but seriously, I haven't listened to it more than give times and I don't even remember most of the songs that are in it... Having "Neon Fashion and Glowstix" in the highest quality possible sort of made it for me, though.

Did the song leak or was Miley's album released? I am sorry if I sound dumb but I have no idea about when the Miley release is happening.

I think "Superlove" might be my favorite song by Charli now. And it's not only because it's the new single or anything, but I seem to always find it cooler each time I hear it. It's a simple song but it's so cute and lovely and great.
-
I tried typing up lyrics but I know that some lines might be wrong. Does anyone want to help? (I'm sorry if there are many mistakes, though.)
-
The song leaked weeks ago and no one even talks about it anymore so I think it's better for Bob to shut up and wash the dishes.
-
I like the song but it's rather frustrating that we'll have to wait until December to be able to buy it. I was so excited when I saw the "Buy it on iTunes" link on the YouTube video but nothing. About the cover being mediocre, I am not surprised considering her artwork (except for "You're the One") has never been that stunning, at least in my opinion.
-
Sky Ferreira because Charli's stuff eventually comes out.

I want to cry but I'm happy and I feel like screaming and running around all at the same time, this is too much for me to handle and Sky REALLY released everything as promised, BYE.

I AM DEAD, BURIED AND MY SOUL IS ALREADY WITH JESUS CHRIST IN HEAVEN.

Unfortunately we don't, I would love to hear them too.

"Hawaiian Tropic" is my all-time favorite.

The album is happening. It's happening. It's happening. It's happening. Happening. Happening.

Cole was also at Sky's show two days ago, some fans met both of them!

"I Blame Myself" is so good.

@@cartoon eyes The "Paper Doll" demo isn't real. What happened is that the original, full song (3:30), was circulating months and months before it leaked. The leak that happened at first, though, was of a cut up song and it was slightly pitched as well. Both "Touch & Go" and "Paper Doll" did not leak in full at first, I leaked them with a friend to other people on Facebook and then they leaked right after on Tumblr. And it's very hard to tell what songs were meant to be on the 2010 album. I was talking to @@DUKE just some days ago. She's had a lot of different versions of the debut album. We know that when the label was marketing her as Britney 2.0, she was recording a ton of songs with Bloodshy & Avant ("Cobra"/"108"), Klas Åhlund, Dallas Austin ("Too Many Boys") and she did stuff with Linda Perry too. But we know that she wanted, at first, to release songs she did with Paul Epworth back in 2009. There has never been a track list for previous versions of the debut album. Hope it helps!

That's how the majority of people see her, in fact: someone who's not focused on music and who's just another Tumblr it-girl, but I can make you sure that Sky's focus is on her music career. What happens with her is that, unfortunately, she's been having problems with her label, her releases and producers since 2009, and being uncomfortable with her position and how people were trying to market her, it also collaborated to her releases being so delayed and eventually canceled. The reason to why we constantly see Sky in covers of magazines and campaigns is because she's kind of hyped as a model, and I'd say some kind of internet sensation too, not to mention that it's by modeling that Sky is able to get money to keep her apartment and the traveling and everything else. I get what you mean when you say that you like some of the songs but you think that she's not focused, though, because back then when she had to make some songs like "Lolita" and "Obsession," she wasn't focused at all while people were investing thousands and thousands on her trying to make her the new 17-year-old Britney.

I think the video is going to be the best Sky ever did, and it's making me so excited. I hope she releases it along with the single next week to help with the promo. And I find it fun that Sky and everyone pronounces her name in English (obviously, as she's American). The name is Portuguese though and it's originally pronounced "fe-hay-ra." Once a guy from MTV Brazil interviewed her and he said "Sky Fe-hay-ra" and she kind of told him how to pronounce it properly.
-
I get your point there and I feel sort of slew? Seriously.
-
Her career is so messy that her label updates Last.fm with a preview and the release date is posted as September 17 when Sky said the single would come out September 16 while on Amazon the released is set for 24.
