I think it has something to do with PNG/JPG. I think it'd be a wiser choice if they release the album digitally and then let the physical orders for later, kinda like what happened with the mixtape. It just doesn't make sense to hold it for so long, they won't be able to prevent a leak if the album's only coming in June. Um... because it leaked (?)... they never announced it before, so if we knew it before the announcement, it's our problem and not theirs.

I guess the content in the lyrics is enough to make it come out as explicit, like “cutting girls up for dinner” and “find me ten feet underground right where he put me” etc.

I couldn’t agree more. Sky is like the artist I love the most in terms of music and the amount of stuff I’ve collected and gotten to know about her during all these years is overwhelming, but MAN, it has been 11 fucking years in 2021. Some fans have been stanning since 2010 and the 3 years of waiting for NTMT was enough suffering. Now, 7-8 more years for the sophomore album we have basically NO info on? Come on. Sky Ferreira is a TRUE legend, whew. There’s no other “internet” artist I know who’s still talked about after all this time with no material.

I think the exclamation mark in “over this” makes total sense because of how the song goes, but in fact tagging a song as an interlude is kind of silly. Specially when it comes to Slayyyter songs which tend to be short anyway...

I can only imagine the anxiety going on when artists have their projects done for months but they can’t drop it for external reasons. And tho “Butterflies...” is a shorter song, it’s no longer considered an interlude, it won’t be labeled as such on the album.

In a way it’s quite possible that the track list could be outdated because this version of the album was ready since mid 2020, but let’s see how this goes. I feel like they might have worked on the track list by adding more songs instead of replacing the ones in it... I think she’ll announce the album and the single tomorrow also:
