This probably isn’t an unpopular opinion, but video games is probably one of the most beautiful pop songs of all time. It’s up there with songs wouldn’t it be nice by The Beach Boys or dirty work by steely dan.

Omg I love that she mentioned she was self taught when it comes to writing, and that it’s important to write everyday. I really like that she doesn’t act like she has some crazy god given talent that cannot be recreated. Instead she got to the point of being one of the best songwriters of all time possibly by working at it.

Hey it’s my most listened to right behind the title track. Funny because it was the song I was least looking forward to, but it really is amazing.

Not surprised honestly. I feel like Lana was always really well received by French media. Maybe because she has made such a big aesthetic and sonic change, they fell out of love. America is so obsessed with originality over everything, where as I think in most European countries appreciate authenticity. I think doing what’s authentic is not always the most original thing.
