It’s a joke that Lana still sings off to the races at shows. It’s like she was smart enough to know it didn’t sound great live during late 2012 - 2014, what happened... If she wants a longer more ‘epic’ song on the set list she should sing cruel world (a song that actually sounds good live). I feel the same way about cherry. It sounds like garbage live. She should sing white mustang or art deco if she still wants a shorter lighter song. I get the gays love these two but they are trash live. Lana really needs to take into consideration that she has gained a lot of new fans this album and she really should change up the set list. A lot of the obnoxious BTD twinks (and girls) have completely left the fandom. She doesn’t have to pander to them anymore. There is no need to sing a 7 year old song that wasn’t even a single.

I feel like some Lana stans have been a fan for like a day. Like she literally said ‘maybe I could save you from your sins, kiss the sky and whisper to Jesus’. Do y’all think she said that just because it sounded cool. I have to laugh. - I do have to say I don’t love these big megachurches she has been going to. They feel very corporate and detached from actual scripture. I don’t think it’s a ‘cult’, where they are going to have some massive group suicide or some Waco siege type of situation. It’s more like a pyramid scheme/mlm, if that makes sense. Just a money cover up. Celebs probably donate crazy amounts of money to this church and hilsong, so they can get a tax break. Nothing nefarious, maybe unethical.

Spirituality and religion (specifically Christianity) has always been a part of her music. Lana doesn’t talk about god, Jesus, the afterlife, wear crosses, etc for aesthetic reasons alone.

I’m glad lana doesn’t post a lot on social media I have seen too many celebs embarrass themselves. Also I think her messy sporadic post are cute

It is that serious, and honestly yes I would rather her stop doing live shows I literally said so. Her set list doesn’t deliver great live shows. Her shows suck they are a waste of money. I have the right to say that. As a fan who has been supporting her since 2011 in every way possible but seeing her live. I can say her shows sucks. Just like anyone can. Look if you’re ok with listening to butchered lazy performances be my guest. Her vocals didn’t sound great, she looked ok, and the show seemed boring. Also no need to be shady with that comment on the end. I’m not one of the stans that think that paradise was her peak. I even mentioned really liking her shows from 2016. I said it my post that concerts are expensive and time consuming. It’s a slap in the face that she can’t even try.

I don’t want her to ditch doin time because it’s fun. Ideally if she would actually sing songs from nfr which all pretty heavy tracks it would be a really nice addition. I guess in the context of the actual trash set lust it just adds insult to injury. It’s annoying that the tour is called the Norman Fucking Rockwell tour. At least with la to the moon and endless summer they weren’t named after an album. When you name a tour after an album you know I think most people expect to hear mainly songs off of the album. Call me crazy.

It sucks i missed seeing lana in her peak, also sucks I’ll never get to hear her sing any of my faves besides video games if I ever do see her. I had the opportunity to see her in new orleans this year, and I whole heartedly don’t regret missing out. She’s too far up her own ass to actually have a great show. I don’t need to hear her butcher her music. Her concerts are literally just over glorified karaoke night for her. Lana really has some of you pussywhipped if you are getting mad over fans making valid complaints about her shows. Concerts are expensive and time consuming. A lot of people drive HOURS and book hotels even to attend them. If she wants to do these half assed karaoke night type shows she pick smaller venues with cheaper tickets. If she hates doing live shows so much (which I assume she does based off her performances and even stage looks), she should just stop doing them point blank. She could actually be performing new music people actually want to hear but no we have to hear born to die for the millionth time. We have to watch her do that cringey dance for off to the races again and again and again. I AM TIRED. My favorite shows from lana have been from 2014-2016 when her shows were a little more relaxed. I’m not saying she has to go out with a beat face, big hair, heels, and nails done every show like during the paradise tour. I just want her to look pretty and try at least.

Cherry and off to the races are so bad. I literally cannot believe that she won’t sing a song like love because she doesn’t think she sounds good but she is singing cherry and ottr. Does she think she sounds good. Her voice isn’t even that bad she’s just lazy. She doesn’t need a vocal coach or anything she just needs to stop with the back track and put some effort in her shows. I think it’s a joke that she still think blue jeans and born to die. Tomorrow never came is just as bad live as it is in the studio and I hate Sean! At least she looked cute. Also think she’s growing her hair out which is nice. This look is better than all of her 2018 shows and most of 2019.

It’s constantly pointed out that she’ll never be as good as her influences. Lana’s probably sick of it. She’s not an uncooked Joni Mitchell, because she is a completely different artist that makes completely different music. I know she has constantly brought up Joni and ladies of the canyon this era, but she never said she was trying to emulate Joni.
