i discovered marina a while before i ever discovered lana, it just so happens that i ended up liking lana more. i definitely think marina is talented and has a great voice but its not a voice that would work with lanas

hard 2 categorize her in genres because sometimes shes video games, sometimes shes art deco, sometimes shes so legit, sometimes shes scarface, sometimes shes maha maha, long story short shes made music in a bunch of genres if were going by just studio stuff, alternative pop and baroque pop.

i dont want it to be a repeated sound of any of her past albums, but i would muuuuch rather take a honeymoon 2.0 than a born to die / paradise 2.0

she might be an immature fad, i agree, but to say she isnt a good singer is basically the same as saying i dont have ears but im on the same boat, if lana has made 4 albums without any collaborations then i wouldnt want her to do one at the risk of putting a dent in her amazing work

i mean... if this album is supposed to sound similar to born to die... and pitchfork gave born to die a 5.5 out of 10...

love is a really good song, but im hoping that the rest of the upcoming album doesnt sound too similar to it, or similar to any of her past albums if its gonna be born to die / paradise 2.0 like most people are saying then i dont know how i feel about that since btd has my least favorite production of any lana album... it was way too overly produced, 90% of the songs were repetitive, and there were random yelling noises throughout the whole album. if thats what some people consider "lana becoming more mature" then... but its not like im gonna unstan her or anything. not every song is gonna be a hit for every person
