  1. No, it would have nothing to do with that. That part of Get Free in the WM video had a very obvious meaning if you stop to think about it for a moment. Get free = rocket being shot up in the air, and the Love poster, Lana's excitement about intergalactical possibilities, the Love video. I think it's safe to assume it was just the expression of the wish to "get free" get away from here and go to a new land that is unexplored and exciting. If you listen to Lana's BTD era interviews, she says one of the main things that fascinates her about old americana is that people had a sense of "more being out there", people being curious about the possibilities of what tomorrow might bring, whereas nowadays in society we think we discovered everything and reached our potential so the general attitude is more pessimistic/annoyed. So the idea of getting away from here to a new unexplored land is very exciting for her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-NTv0CdFCk 2:57 It's all there

If any of you were so kind as to leak the instrumental I could filter out the background vocals so this big mystery is resolved
  3. Yes this was discussed when the album came out, Tomorrow Never Came is the only song with sad feels in it but even then it's not really sad when you compare it to songs like The Blackest Day, Terrence Loves You, God Knows I Tried, Black Beauty, Best American Record or Million Dollar Man even. It's a real shame she doesn't make them like she used to I want to cry to her music
  4. Totally agree with you. There is nothing sad about it. It's more just a calm song with a cool climax towards the end. There is nothing emotional in her vocal delivery
  5. the chocolate covered version is actually delicious IMO
  6. Isn't that song about some historic society in an old city
  7. No wonder I didn't know, didn't listen to that one since release week
  8. Obviously it's different for everybody, I personally just adore this: Packing all my things for the summer Lying on my bed it's a bummer 'Cause I didn't call when I got your number But I liked you a lot Like this part is just so cute and awww and the way she pronounces I liked you a lot makes me melt
  9. I have went through all, and literally all the love remixes that can be found on youtube and I came to the conclusion that this is the best one. the instrumental is surprisingly beautiful at times. I wish they edited her voice more though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km9l86gAoS0 OT: oh and yes....Your Girl is THAT song
  10. Young and Beautiful definitely is better than VG let's not kid ourself here. ANYWAY I noticed something weird When I googled "boy and girl meet by the great design" Every result was about the Lana song. But idgi. Wasn't this a common saying even before lana made that song??? Or did she in fact coin the phrase?
  11. I thought it was a given that this is the last video for the era Why would she make more
  12. They They would be blown away since it's much more emotional, interesting, deep and memorable than anything on L4L

  16. Why would you even want a multi music video film? White Mustang deserves it's own individual video thank you very much
  17. Same. I just see the beauty in them. But apparently Lana is like that too, at least that's what she said in the past
