  1. hmm true, maybe her team are threatening legal action against specific insiders thats why things are quiet
  2. Because lana is probably still recording songs and nothing has been finished yet, hence no insiders gaining access to anything. In conclusion, no album is coming in September.
  3. why are we fighting? lana is that bitch

    The alchemy sounds like style
  5. manifesting this type of sound for lasso
  6. this is so cute, god i love her voice it's so soothing
  7. yeah it doesn't work well as a full song imo, i would've prefered each part more if it were it's own entity and not merged together to look "artsy" the transition does a good job seperating the two but it feels like a bit of a chore to listen to sometimes
  8. a&w truthers.. ima keep quiet before i get dragged even further no i do like the song i just think its a little... overrated. thats all, dont shoot anyway i thought we agreed @baddisease has the worst taste now, truly disturbing
  9. Dan was responsible for west coast and shades of cool but she didn't work with him multiple times (despite popular demand ) I'm not denying that jack has made great songs with lana, but it doesn't warrant working with him so consistently
  10. oh thats not- but i mean i'll take anyone as long as its not him again
  11. I was fine with Jack on NFR, then with Chemtrails it felt unnecessary. Then by OB it was just starting to become a joke. I don't really wanna get into the whole Jack debate but for the love of god she needs to work with a different producer for a change. And this goes for all of the other pop girlies that are continuously sucking his dick and acting like he's the pinnacle of music, he's really not...
  12. same, and if she's working with jack again im pressing skip on this entire era .. no ty
  13. me checking through my old posts to make sure i haven't been talking too much smack
  14. Every artist has their flop era's i suppose
  15. Ethel probably browses here from time to time but i doubt she has an actual account
  16. oh my god, the teasers have started

This album just gets better and better. I've mostly just been listening to the standard for now before i listen to the deluxe tracks properly. Maybe i'll listen to it next week and pretend its a whole new album (which it is but yk, spread it out)
  18. Why do i feel like it's not called Lasso anymore and we'll never hear that word come from her mouth again

Okay here's my ranking/review after a few listens + some extra thoughts Top Tier 1. Down Bad 9/10 (I love this track so much, it's a perfect melancholy mid tempo pop song. Kinda reminds me of an unreleased Charli song, definitely my type of sound) 2. Guilty as Sin? 9/10 (This one had me gagged! I love the western style and melody, it reminds me of something from her RED era. The taylor i know and love<3) 3. The Tortured Poets Department 8/10 (Instant classic for me, i love the synths and the backing vocals. It sounds so elegant and mature. Beautiful) 4. But Daddy, I Love Him 8/10 (A classic Taylor track, i love that it's 5 minutes as well. It has a great outro and is just overall a great song) 5. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me? 7/10 (Her screaming the line was a great touch, i enjoyed this one!) 6. Fresh Out The Slammer 7/10 (That subtle guitar in the background is haunting, i love the melody because it's very Lana. This was an interesting fresh new sound for Taylor) Mid Tier 7. I Can Do It With a Broken Heart 7/10 (I love this song, it's fun, goofy and cheesy) 8. Fortnight 7/10 (Probably the most Midnight-esque track on the album, it starts off slow but picks up toward the end. It's not a great intro but a nice song overall) 9. So Long, London 7/10 (I need more time with this one but i think i'll grow to love it, its pretty and has a lot of potential) 10. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived 7/10 (Starts off boring but gets better towards the end, i liked the lyrics on this one) 11. The Alchemy 7/10 (Good song but kinda sounds like a lesser version of Guilty as Sin) Bottom Tier 12. My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys 7/10 (A bit basic, but still enjoyable) 13. loml 6/10 (I need more time with this one, but it didn't stand out to me. I do like the piano though) 14. Clara Bow 6/10 (probably the most "mehh" song on the album, it's alright i guess) 15. Florida!!! 5/10 (I just don't like this song at all) 16. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) 5/10 (boring)

This is a great album. Down Bad and Guilty as Sin are my favourites so far. I absolutely love that western sound in guilty, and down bad is just so melancholy and gentle. There's a lot of highlights for me, i'm still on my second listen but might drop a ranking later today if i have the time. <3

Well lana's albums sound good, so what do you think?
  22. can neil sing? i'd love a neil collab on a track just because his contribution to lana's aesthetic is.. far too much
  23. There was no need for that blatant Lana del rey rip off title it's so on the nose it's insulting , must be awkward for lana when they interact, poor billie
