    Tamino

22-year-old artist Tamino (born Tamino Moharam Fouad) is a half-Egyptian, half-Belgian alternative/indie artist. Tamino’s music reflects his double nationality, but it’s also influenced by a wide range of genres, leaping from folk to pop, with a dash between blues and rock. Tamino’s first EP, Habibi (‘sweetheart’, in Arabic), was released in early May, and he released his first album Amir in October 2018. Other great songs from his new album include: Tummy, Intervals, Cigar and Each Time.
  2. I love to use my earphones because I can pick up all the little background sounds that my speakers can't
  3. I think the reason why LFL isn't my favorite album is because it didn't feel very Lana to me. I feel like the whole political theme ruined it because politics ages like milk (depending on what you're singing about). And I just didn't connect with the album on an emotional level like I did with her previous work. It's not a terrible album by any means, it's actually very solid. But it doesn't FEEL genuine to me. Edit: also happy 300 pages!
  4. I wanted to include Blue Velvet and TOW but it would end up being a really long list lol
  5. Songs which had her best vocals: Yayo (Paradise) - say what you want about this version, but her voice has never sounded so heavenly and innocent. Cola - For the high note she did God Knows I Tried - Her vibrato was incredible and she managed to hold onto each note longer than usual Salvatore Money Power Glory - Although light and feathery, her vocals were still very strong Black Beauty National Anthem - Her voice just sounds so energetic and fresh, not dreary like it is now these are just a FEW of her best vocals. I would have listed her unreleased vocals but I'd be here all night. My point here is that her vocals these days are so weak, monotone and dreary. You're lying to yourself if you think her vocals were "amazing" on LFL. They were mediocre at best. I'm not saying LFL is outright terrible, but the awful filter over her voice, the playing safe etc. It's what I fear will happen for NFR too...because I don't think these new snippets really sound that different from LFL in terms of vocals. The music is different of course. But the vocals? Idk... I care about this so much because we all here know exactly what Lana is capable of. We know how well she can sing, and how powerful her voice can be. And I don't think she's using her voice to it's full advantage that's all.
  6. Same. I'm kinda getting tired of her light wispy voice and want something more raw and womanly
  7. the link is broken :/ edit: nevermind it works lol If that is the cover then.....whew girl imma have to change it
  8. true, but her sympathy here seems highly selective and transparent to me idk edit: im gonna get dragged I can feel it lol oh well
  9. Eh wish she showed this much energy towards shootings that don't just happen in California
  10. How about this: NFR cover with Lana driving the car, but running over Azealia
  11. Imagine if NFR cover was of a plane. I feel like Lana is gonna change it up this era https://twitter.com/Lanapedia/status/1060239640777478145
  12. How cool would it be if Lana made the NFR boxset and included a little poetry book? So like, it could have a vinyl, a CD, 4 prints and a poetry book. Ugh
  13. Petition for Lana to recreate this look for the NFR alboom cover
  14. I want Mark Ryden to paint Lana's album cover. Something like his previous work: But then again, the album is titled after Norman Rockwell so it would be a little weird to have another artist paint the cover.
  15. For some reason I feel like this album cover will be something we will either hate or love. No in between. I'm actually nervous because a part of me feels like this album cover will be the best we've had, and Lana will pull out all the stops, but another part of me feels like it'll be so basic and underwhelming. Only time with tell though.
  16. Lana would want ya'll to vote, that's the tea for today.
