In response to her comments on feminism, which I feel really strongly about and if you take the time to read some other peoples comments on her idiotic statement you will see many people feel the same way. I'm not going to apologize about putting my opinions and beliefs above anyone, I don't think anyone should and if anyone on here is compromising their beliefs because Lana thinks otherwise and they have to be a stan then bigger fool them, they are also an idiot. Do you really base all your beliefs around Lana Del Rey who is a fictional character.

are you really trying to compare a loaded fucking word like "whore" - which is used to humiliate, dehumanize, shame ETC ETC ETC women for having sex/doing anything in sexual nature to ...calling a dude a wanker? which means what exactly? i have never heard anyone call a dude a wanker before in my life. know how many times i've heard men call women whores - for doing pretty much anything, from wearing short dresses to flirting at a party to having consentual sex?

there is no doubt that slut shaming was not her intention, but it's important that she gets called out on this shit - mainly so women in general stop calling other fucking women whores? where do you think that comes from? what kind of message do you think that perpetuates? if i call someone the N word but i'm not, you know, really meaning to use that word in the context of its history, does this somehow mean it's cool? no. for someone like lana, who has dramatized herself as a stripper, alluded to several sexual obsessions, has lyrics like "i was an angel looking to get fucked hard" and preaches this idea of ultimate freedom for women, you think she would be a little more wise and have a little more understanding about the history of that word and what kind of message it sends. it reminds me of childish brats in high school calling other girls whores and sluts. it was "harmless" name calling but it got a pretty strong idea across. and women's sexuality is still a HUGE issue, so like.... why so many people here seem to want to excuse this is kinda beyond me. i get that you love lana, i do, too, but that doesn't mean you should turn a blind eye to bullshit.

I think the same that's why I hate listening to/reading her interviews, like I just listened to that one and she admits she signed to universal before video games and she made this massive fuss back then that she was signed after cause she wanted to look indie. Your poor brother that's a nightmare like 10 years!! I get it with Kurt suffering for 6 yrs cause it was 25 years ago and the specialists were probably shit but now they are more knowledgable and advanced. Glad your brother got sorted in the end, we have it in our family and crohn's. I'll never forget my endoscopy I got offered to be sedated or just have throat anaesthetic I went for that cause I thought if I was awake they would be more gentle, they rammed a tube like an inch thick down my throat into my gut and I couldn't stop retching and belching like massive barfs, blargh bleeegh bleagh they were so loud and I couldn't stop and it was like funny and disturbing at the same time. I kind of got historical laughter but couldn't really laugh cause I was in pain, then water just started streaming out my eyes like so much water and then my nose got so snotty I couldn't breath anymore cause there's the giant tube down my throat and the dr's like are you alright! I couldn't say anything cause of the fuck off giant camera tube inside and just belched and retched some more. He said my gut lining looked really red and inflamed and he was going to take a sample for biopsy so he feeds another tube down the big one and I actually feel him pulling bits of my gut out with this thing, it felt so wrong and all the time I'm blleaahh bleeegh. Seriously if anyone has to have this procedure take the sedative and get knocked out it was too fucking freaky I'm still scarred, seriously it was like an alien autopsy, I got treated really quick though in about a year and my sister they sorted her out real quick in a few months she was really bad, we just both have ultra sensitive guts and allergic/intolerant to most food, basically a really shit immune and digestive system.

No, they really don't. But she wants to pretend like she's still stuck in 2011/2012 when the media was hounding her but it's been over 2 years and she's still acting like a victim. I get that she went through a lot of shit but at this point it's almost like she wants to do nothing but continue on with this incessant whining and delude herself into thinking that everyone still hates her when they really don't.
 
The support and praise she gets from the media is almost biased at this point. They'll love every mundane video and track she releases and say it's groundbreaking. There has never been a point in her career where she's gotten this much positive support and love from the public but yet in her mind people are still out to get her.
