I’ve ended up liking songs that I didn’t pay attention to when we got the track list: Fishtail, Candy Necklace, Margaret, and the interludes. It’s a very beautiful album. I’m starting to come around to it. It was a lot to listen to at once. Putting it on shuffle and revisiting songs one at a time has helped me get into it more.

The production value on Honeymoon cannot be topped

For right now, this album has not dethroned UV, NFR, or Honeymoon for me.

After first listen, the standout tracks are The Grants, Did you know…, A&W, Candy Necklace, Let the Light In, Margaret, and Fishtail. I need more time with Taco Truck X VB but my first reaction is the beats feel a little cheap for the VB part. I also need more time with Sweet, Kintsugi, Fingertips, Grandfather, and Peppers (again the beats feel a little cheap? I don’t know how to describe it). I enjoyed the interludes. I did NOT like Paris, Texas
