Yeah, I think the purest performance we've gotten from her lately was How to Disappear. Probably because she actually relates to those lyrics at this point in her life.

I really hope they kept the original slight surf rock influence. Idgaf about shows or interviews at this point anymore. I just want new Lana songs to listen to. She could just drop it rn with no album cover and I almost wouldn't even mind

I truly feel like this relates to what that pilot instructor said to her... she doesn't trust herself. She shows up and lets the playback and band do half the work for her and she goes and takes photos with the front row. I think she thinks that she has made it (she has) and now she just gets to coast by. But... she isn't exciting to watch in that state of mind. She's best when she's actually trying.

Sadly she seems to have changed a lot as a performer. Something happened in 2016. She became lazy with her performances :/ It's a shame because we know she is capable of those older vocals. Remember Blake's birthday party?
