I know you’re joking but this is very real. I think she’s just one of these straight people who just don’t really care or think about gay people tbh. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, I for one don’t care much about the struggles straight people go through and that doesn’t mean I hate straight people. I don’t think she expected (or likes) having young gay and females fans. Ever since Paradise she’s trying harder and harder to change her demographic, unsuccessfully lol. I think with NFR she’s definitely trying harder than ever to ditch the gays

I really hope she isn’t changing the direction of the album to be more pop because of the complaints of the label/fans. The singles and snippets are amazing and some of her most acclaimed and personal songs ever. I just know she made something very special this era and I don’t want it to be lost

I don’t think this is the reason they’re not releasing the album. If it was ready then they already had the opportunity to release it before. I still think the problem is internal issues with the label, in her beats 1 interview she said that they asked why couldn’t she just release a normal pop song instead of venice bitch. They were already complaining about wanting a proper pop single and then she released hope. Doesn’t make any sense, does it? After that months go by and no “real” single or album..
