If it's her saddest song she's written then heck yes, the melody seems v subtle, her voice is so raw & close to the mic, i feel like there's sumn in the background we can barely hear; I'm excited for it -

in the moment yeah it's great- the fans loved how warm and inclusive it was; but she had a hard time herself getting the right key, it usually sounded a bit off -

not to mention it goes both ways; sure we don't owe her anything, but we also don't gotta buy or stream her shit if she puts out poor, uninspired work people having hopes & wanting their favorite people to keep experimenting and growing or having opinions on current material =/= entitlement -

it'd be so skinny if she sung Mariner's Apt Complex & Cinnamon to contrast Venice "Chick" n How to Disappear but then Elle also said Sylvia was a single...but we know it's the saddest song she's ever written and idk how that'd bode well for an LGBT event and since it's an LGBT fundraising event afaik she'll probably just stick to more 'happy' classics people will know, like video games- she might promote NFR after the show but I can't see her promoting it during -

to be fair BtD & UV were both 12/11 tracks long before deluxe- and some of the songs gained with each DLX addition aren't remotely highlights- besides that after having to trudge through LfL countless amounts of time I don't trust her indecisive ass with longer tracklists -

for the most part yeah, i have a playlist that sequences highlights from every album to tell a story to me that i listen to from time to time, but since her music has always been (up until LfL) thematic and cohesive on a per album basis I rarely shuffled her entire discography. any mood i was in usually fit BtD, AKA, UV, or HM and i'd be able to listen to the entire album without caring- cause it carried that emotion throughout the tracklist while still switching up sounds or production; with LfL i can't be in a sadder mood and wait for 5-6 tracks just to hit that section of the album..it ain't worth the wait GBA and World at War are decent songs, but I'll only ever listen to them if they happen to pop up on a shuffle or autoplay; I'll never be in a "mood" to listen to IMF or Coachella like I'd be in a relaxed, calm state for all of Honeymoon -

mte. there are definitely people that care about a metacritic score but let's not act like her shorter records are the most praised when her longest and most filler-heavy album has the highest metacritic score in her career. LfL had tracks that needed more work (Cherry, Coachella, Summer Bummer, the political tracks' lyricism) and some that were straight filler garbage or vocal lowlights (IMF & White Mustang). if lana gives 11 tracks with the same quality as Venice Bitch & MAC (which HtD is easily on MAC level, just gotta hear production) then we're set. some of y'all say you want another 16-18 track album while you haven't listened to 6-10/16 tracks in half a year anyways while you looped the entirety UV last week, make it make sense -

true, i guess last year most people were just SO excited for new music (myself included) 16-18 songs sounded ethereal, not really taking into account so many would age, be filler from the jump, or arguable as to their quality (BPBP); if Lana wanted to give us 10-12 tracks but each of them are incredible (like melodrama) we're well fed for years melodrama sounds fresh, innovative, and gorgeous to this day...if Lana pulls that out with NFR then we're in our bag for a great 2yrs -

i vaguely remember her saying HtD was the last one they recorded/did for the album, i feel like she might've had it written/sequenced, maybe a demo recording..but i don't really know. ever since Change i can't tell if the snippets are live moments (like how Change's IG snippets were practically recorded the night she got home from completing the record) or old videos cause the HtD snippet we got was pure piano, but it seemed like they were producing/mixing it WEEKS after on IG Live, and that also begs the question if most the snippets we got are pure piano demos Jack & her recorded beforehand to fully produce next time he was in town (since we know he's in Cali like 1 week every month)- so we could have 11 + HtD being the absolute final track, with them mixing and sequencing things before physical copies are made OR HtD was the 11th and last track written/recorded that she fully finished about a month ago. i really don't know cause she don't ever SAY anything. if we're talking theoretical though, would y'all prefer an 11/12 track album or something longer like LfL had 16 (should've been 18)? -

to be fair her Jack performance + maybe half a photoshoot would be treating us good in comparison to the radio silence we've had since HtD -- part of me hopes she sings new songs at Jack's event, but it'll probably be HtD & VB again, it'd be kinda cute if she sang MAC/Cinnamon to contrast the Apple event (and gave us release date/tracklist/cover after the show) but that's most def a fever dream do y'all still want 11 tracks btw? -

I never truly bothered for LiB, that's a reach & hard guesswork- but when a hot 1/5-1/4 of the forum was on the same craze I was on for a song that's 6yrs old that didn't even belong to her it's alright; yet me expressing my own opinions & desires while keeping it humorous & lighthearted is valid enough for people to sincerely think I need to know their opinions or takes on the track's release potential nothing you can say will burst my bubble- this goes back on my point as to why some of you think i care and/or need to know your "realistic hot take" as if anything you've said is worth half a penny & hasn't already been said before. If you're sincerely this bothered by seeing 1 post out of so many others (that ain't the best quality anyways due to the fact everybody shitposting since we have 0 news) then simply ignore me as a user. you being huffy n puffy ain't gonna stop me from vouching for a track, you don't carry the influence -
