it was rly fun for being an insomniac at the time but looking back on it..we had like 2 WM teasers, 2-3 SB teasers, like 4-5 Change teasers in addition to knowing WaW, GBA, Yosemite, TNC, 13B, BPBP's titles with LfL, GL, Coachella, and Love being released with Cherry having been played live...all before the album..like girl we literally only had In My Feelings, Heroin, and Get Free to discover for ourselves on a 16 track album- i'd LOVE to find out and hear the songs themselves for the first time, having the mystery of the title and the potential sounds- cause I'd really hate for her to drop like 6 more snippets of tracks at 1-2am for some weird ass reason we already have 4 confirmed songs with a good 5 potential tracks, 3 of those she's referenced within the year/while she was with Jack so who knows

that's where the vocals fall off for me, it'll probably sound better on the record and it could be the LQ grain with her real voice over it; but it's like her voice cracked or she couldn't/didn't hold the note at all on the lyrics- it also happens when she says "beer". it doesn't come off that emotional to me, it comes off like she was sick and almost was ab to cough so she stopped singing for a second ugh i love the lyrics every time i read them but i hope it's more than just piano, and i agree that this mid-range voice isn't doin it for me, sounds hella similar to Change (not a diss just a note, love change). but give us maleficent vocals biiitch you done it before

for me it's the basic white dude name dropping "John, Jim, J, Bill, etc. it's equal parts specific and anecdotal, but also vague enough for people to imagine the scenarios in their own ways- which was a major appeal from her earlier work as her song were both highly descriptive and transparent yet she was still somehow mysterious as fuck im gettin VG lyrical vibes from the beer, it's like the leaving lover from BJ was the happy times lover from VG set over a piano melody based on the verse alone also idk if it was the video, her singing along, or the actual track but parts of it sounded shaky, and not like emotional shaky- but like..idk awkwardly shaky i gotta relisten but on my first experience sumn was off
