I was thinking about this album & why she did the "W Magazine" article nearly 5 months ago - with basically nothing revealed since... then I remembered her 2020 Interview Magazine she did with the blonde hair/mask/kitten bathtub video and it was like 6 months before COTCC SO if we are being delusional, we are 5 months after the W Magazine article = one more month till LDR9? Interview Magazine (Sept 2020 --> COTCC March 2021) W Magazine (May 2022 --> LDR9. November 2022) ? 🤡 I just dont get the hype of doing a magazine with nothing planned unless W Mag was aching to get lana for some photos ? idk kinda odd

i don’t think her “being an aunt” should scare us, i mean when the child grows up she’s gonna think of how bad&ss lana was and is i’m sure. so i don’t think we should worry about LDR singing about more appropriate lyrics. especially since Lana has spoken about how her “life is my poetry; my lovemaking my legacy” it makes me get the sense that with each new lover, or romance in her ride on life as an artist and human - she can gain new lessons and feelings and learn and make music or poems. but for whatever reason she does not trust easy or it fizzles out or it doesn’t last (we have no idea how come, so i think that could be a cool album topic) but it seems until some really magnetic special one of a kind love happens it’ll be this continuous ride for her / these are just my recent opinions and thoughts about her and her art. and the whole acting more mature - it seems like she’s sick of the thinkpieces about her being “not authentic” with the hair and nails etc. which goes to show she really seems to care what people think, even though she shouldn’t cause she’s a baddie and beautiful.

it’s giving Watercolor Eyes for me… it’s a sweet nice lovely song, it’s cute. Can barely hear lana at all. it’s very very subtle. but there. but disappointing for us lana fans. it feels like something is missing tbh. but it’s good. not bad. it’s not super memorable tbh. aside from the fact it’s a Efffin Taylor/Lana collaboration. tbh i rarely listen to the lana and stevie nicks collab either. Only the Cat Power collab really has been iconic for me!

I think what happened is awful and I also think it is a bit careless to keep ALL of those things in the car, unattended, with no back ups or photos of the work... especially all together in one place... in MELROSE of all places, where peoples cars get broken into allllll the time, people get mugged during the holidays in daylight, and stores are broken into constantly ... her friend Jenny was ranting about her purse getting stolen at the mall a year ago in daylight idk im not saying it is her fault at all at alllll, but as shitty as it is, it is also a learning experience for us ALL, all of us ... dont leave clothes or sunglasses or anything of value, cause people are A**Holes esp with the cost of living these days... anyways my rant is over, I just can't stop thinking about this and now we will have a longer wait for art (I know this is not the main problem with what happened ) and im pissed at the thieves and I feel bad for her

i got to thinking what if it was some random act of violence and the person has no idea it was “art” and they just threw away her journals or diaries the book was on ? or are we assuming it was on the computer ? imagine the journal ends up in a landfill somewhere 😭😭

i got thinking, it is kind of cute that she is doing a covers album considering every record of hers has about one song that is a cover included to fit the era (blue velvet, the other woman, don’t let me be misunderstood, etc) i just hope LDR9 or X is separate from the covers record, like or announce them both at the same time or something. idk i just feel anxious and excited to see where she takes us lyrically and sonically after BB and a covers album is kind of a reprieve which maybe she needs to continue to flesh out ldrx
