  1.

So Jamie Brewer is returning as some doll thing like the Annabelle movie & NPH is a magician named Chester who takes ownership of the Freak Show. Looks like there will be a focus on the Tattler sisters and their relationship to Chester, as well as how Jimmy's hands would up in the museum.

Next episodes are titled Magical Thinking, Show Stoppers and Curtain Call.

  2. Racism is systematic oppression. White people are not oppressed. White people can be oppressed because of their gender, sexuality etc., but not their skin colour. Therefore, reverse racism or racism towards white people does not exist. Prejudice towards white people is real, but white racks certainly is not.

Anyway, I got True Romance for Christmas! :legend:

  3. I don't think Charli is of Ugandan descent, I think her Indian mother was just from/lived there. There used to be a large Indian population living in Uganda who were fully Indian & did not have any Ugandan blood in them; my mom & her family lived in Uganda and it was just happenstance that their families had chosen to migrate there, as they had no Ugandan ancestry. The large majority (if not all) Indians lived there up until the early 70s when they were all kicked out. So basically, I think Charli is of Indian-Scottish descent, not Scottish-Indian-Ugandan, if her parentage was similar to mine.

It's really important for the plight of POC to be discussed and it saddens me that Charli doesn't really acknowledge her ethnicity. I literally only found out about it because it's mentioned on her Wiki biography - it's unfair that it's just an additional little note instead of something that Charli talks about in her interviews. As someone said before, not recognising her own ethnicity basically amounts to self-hate and internalized racism.

    FML Charli is problematic

  4. Does he have any non-album tracks, unreleased, or anything? I wanna listen to those before I listen to his other two albums.

    from what i've got:

Dreeem, Your Drum & Divine Faxes - Learning Bonus Tracks

Rusty Tracks - Put Your Back N 2 It Bonus Track

Katie - Put Your Back N 2 It Outtake

    Thing - Too Bright Outtake

  5. A white feminist really. I'm really disappointed. Like I know Iggy helped your mainstream success a lot, but you don't owe her anything. Iggy would be a nobody without you too.

This is exactly what I feared about Charli, kinda worried that Marina is a typical white feminist as well.

She doesn't owe Iggy shit, everyone KNOWS that the best/catchiest part of Fancy was the hook, not the trashy verses. I'm so disappointed in Charli for supporting that atrocity, but I hope that she learns from the error of her ways and apologises (like Marina did regarding Girls).

  6. I usually can't stand male vocalists, but I don't actually mind Mike's. Learning is a kinda slow & too demo-y for my liking, but the lyrics are still astonishingly good. Put Your Back N 2 It feels more professional. Too Bright is definitely the best album IMO.

His lyrics are fucking intense though. They're so raw and real oh my god.

I'm A Mother though. Wtf is that mess???????

share the link!! lmao it was hard enough finding Too Bright lol

Sorry for the late reply! I'll send you link, lemme just find it again.

  7.

So what songs can be considered album B-Sides? I only have these four.

    • Superlove
    • Allergic to Love (Cover)
    • Rollercoaster (Cover)
    • Money (That's What I Want) (Cover)

I'd say that's about right, but you might wanna add So Over You from the EU version of the album (hasn't been released yet).

  8. :hae:

I don't know if you guys are still interested in all this but I also started creating a booklet. So, here are the first few pages (just click on the thumbnails to see it in HQ).

Basically you always see two pages as you would see them when opening a real booklet. So these are the first 8 pages.

If you have any suggestions, wishes, criticism for me don't hesitate to tell me. :)

    THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. So Sky went on a little Twitter spree tonight and basically said the following:

-she wanted to do a video for most NTMT songs but didn't have the funding to do so

-all NTMT videos were self-funded, funded by Grant or sponsored

-she's working with Tamaryn on some music (whoever that is lol)

-the Heavy Metal Heart video was "unofficial"

-she's working with more positive people for album 2

-she wants to say the album will be released next year, but is hesitant to do so after 5 year wait for NTMT

-her music is more "mature" now, "going deeper into where I left off" and "more electronic than before...but I wouldn't say it's clubby or anything"

-she's working with Ariel, Justin and Bobby from Scream

    -she keeps all fan art

-she wants to do more songs with/covers of Ariel

-she hopes to make the videos for previous albums [i think she just means NTMT] later, even though it's "a bit weird"

-she wanted to make the Kristine video with Grant in Miami

-the Omanko video was made "for fun" and "without any intention of doing anything with it"

  10. I've been meaning to ask everyone here what you thought of certain aspects of the Breaking Up video. Overall I love it, but a couple of parts bothered me a little: girl posse vs. boy possee, and the one time she "slaps" the Ex (after gagging, binding and dragging him). I'm more bothered by the message others could make of it, than true concern for Charli's intent. I mainly interpreted it as "This guy is a jerk, and this guy's friends are also jerks, and Charli and her friends are sick of it." No biggie... unless. Did it make anyone else feel uncomfortable, like it's girl power attacking guys in general?

I though the video was great (apart from the awkward spoken part at the beginning). Loved the part where she smashes her phone after video message!

I don't think she intended for there to be a message, I think it was just a kind of "ladies, if he's a dick then dump him". Girl power is glorious.

  11. Okay so I'm confused, why are we trying to link Vivian to Freak Show? And hasn't Pepper's sister (that actress) been on AHS before? I couldn't remember...

Anyway the last episode was so good. I just got a tad confused now that Pepper is in two seasons what this means for every other character. Like so when Pepper meets Sister Jude it's not Elsa, she just has a really creepy resemblance???

I think it's because Vivian said she had family in Florida and Freak Show is set there, so it's kind of a subtle link that people are trying to develop. And Pepper's sister played Kyle's mom in Coven.

I think we have to take a pinch of salt with the actors & actresses; we have to assume that they're doppelgängers of each other, or that the characters don't recognise that they're the same person ie. Sister Jude is not Elsa Mars - they're two separate people who just happen to look like each other. You never know, however - Ryan might explain it in a later episode/season.
