  1. So yeah, in other words I'm still desperate for a comeback of SURF NOIR.

I NEED the return of surf noir, especially if the album is released in August! it would be the perfect summer album...some UV tracks had the feel of it (WC, BKBY, FK), but I crave the return of fully-fledged surf Lana

imagine if she did some folk tale songs like HDYKMSW...it would lyrically be quite different to her released stuff and would really help her standing as a songwriter

  2. Yes please send

+ I notice you don't list the features on Til the World Ends, do we have a solo version?

sending now, it's a fanmade solo version i found on youtube

  3. @ why have I never heard of

    Boombox

    Go On Roll

    Honky Tonk Song

    Miami Nights

    Touch Me

    Someone help?

Go On Roll & Honky Tonk Song are live and badly recorded tracks, Touch Me only has Kesha on the backing vocals in the chorus (I think). Miami Nights and Boombox each have a verse by Kesha. do u want me to send them?

btw pls post your kesha unreleased collection + charli volumes :creepna: thank uuuuuuuuu

  4. !!!!!!!!!!!! very important:

    Stay young, wild one

I know your heart's been through it all,

    Stay young

  5. okay so in the absence of any unreleased volumes from Sitar, i decided to try to create some myself...i grouped by themes more so than by sound & the track order is kinda meh (cause i'm not good at stuff like that lol). the covers are all ones from coverlandia that i edited to remove the titles. the volume names are iffy too but idrc

so first we have Volume I: Discotheque. these are the party/having a good time songs that we know ke$ha for

    u76fm.jpg

Volume II: Want U Bad is the happy-relationship Ke$ha stuff, all sun-shining and birds singing

    bKz89.jpg

Volume III: Cherry Pop. sexual, saucy and seductive. do the nasty to it.

    JcP3v.jpg

Volume IV: Disgusting is Ke$ha still in love with her bf/gf, but feeling kinda pissy at the same time. im not a great fan of this volume cause it's not as cohesive as the others imo.

    J68NX.jpg

Volume V: Feels Like Rain. my favourite volume & the saddest one. this is the vulnerable side to K$ that the public rarely see. some of these tracks could possibly also work on Volume IV (I Hate You, Dead Flowers).

    Y5NH9.jpg

Volume VI: Revenge. now, you know Ke$ha, she ain't the type to be crying around over some stupid boy/girl for too long. this is the album to tear out boys'/girls' hearts to.

    acNHu.jpg

Volume VII: Child of the Moon is the one for extras that didn't really fit in the other categories, or were too "unfinished" imo. it's also got some Warrior outtakes that i PRAY she uses for the next album.

  6. Should I just wait for the album to drop?

It's up to you really, there's a few tracks that aren't gonna be on the album that are really good (Maybe You, Better in the Dark, Eclipse), but you won't be missing out on loads if you just wait. :)

  7.

that tracklist is underwhelming to say the least

@heartcore could you send me these:

    Maybe You
Fool of Me (feat. Chet Faker)
Feels Like We Only Go Backwards (Tame Impala Cover)
    Better in the Dark
    Instant Crush (Daft Punk Cover)

    sure, check your PMs :)

I was going to come here and post the news a few days ago but I forgot!! I really like the cover and in some cases albums like this bother me, but I'm actually glad they are giving the random singles they've released so far a proper home with the album.

EDIT: I just noticed of all the songs they didn't include "Better In The Dark"??? :wat: Or "Eclipse" unless it has a different title...

yeah they didn't include them :( but they suggested in a tweet that Love is the Loneliest Place would be getting some sort of release, so maybe it's the B-Side to Nothing But a Heartbeat? if so, Eclipse could be getting the same treatment!!!

& their store just says "standard version" atm, so maybe we are getting a deluxe! :legend:

  8. ALBUM COVER & TRACKLIST HAS BEEN REVEALED!!!!!!

No word on a deluxe version as of yet.

  9. That was a good episode! It's a shame that this season has been so off-and-on, some episodes were great (ie. Orphans, Monsters Among Us, Edward Mordrake P1 & P2), but others just felt like fillers (e.g. Magical Thinking). The scene with Maggie's death was horrible to watch but nicely done at the same time. I'm glad the freaks reacted in the way that they did to her death & their plot to kill Elsa, it felt like the way they would react. It's a shame about what's happened to Dandy's character; since Coven, it feels like they've created these sadistic, purely-evil characters, then neglected to continue this evil any longer.

Also - HANS GRUPER! It would have been IMPOSSIBLE to have a German torturers without having Dr Arden play at least some role in it. I also liked the slight reference to Sister Jude when one of the freaks asks Elsa if they're going to watch "The Sign of the Cross". That was cool.

  10. I'm sorry it was so out of hand that I just recently switched over to B-side albums instead :rip: I found my Kesha volumes, unlike Lana or Sky or even Charli, had no variety any way that I would organize them (first by era, then by mood). Whereas a "sad" Lana album could go from Breaking My Heart to AFFA, Kesha songs by mood just blend together kinda.

ah man that sucksssss...thanks anyway though

  11.

it seems like i'm the only who ever posts in this thread :rip:

@@SitarHero heyyy mannn i was just wondering if you organise your K$ unreleased stuff in the same way as you do with Lanz' and Sky's (in volumes)? if you do, could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post them here, i've been dying to have some sort of order to mine.

  12. Lolita, for sure. And the Leaves of Grass collection of poetry by Walt Whitman, as someone mentioned earlier - particularly Song of Myself (Cola monologue uses a few lines from it) & I Sing the Body Electric (for obvious reasons). I'd also say The Great Gatsby - mostly because Y&B was used for the movie, but also because it's often seen as the classic American novel, which is an idea that I think Lana tries to replicate through her music.

Any books that glorify American/Americana, really, would be appropriate, as long as any literature considered to be "the great American novel" (except Moby Dick cause that is a useless and stupid book).

  13. oh my god yaaaaaaaaasss  :defeated:  :defeated:  :defeated:  :defeated:  :defeated:  :defeated:  :defeated:

but then it seems like the one on that soundcloud post it's upscaled  :smokes3:

was the :rip: a good thing? omg

i can send you the ones we have, if you'd like?

of course it was!!! i love jack & htgawm ahhhhhhhhhh

  14. http://www.newnownext.com/logo-chats-with-charli-xcx-about-her-ugandan-heritage-and-anti-gay-laws-watch/01/2015/

very very brief interview where she (finally!!!!) acknowledges her Ugandan background, albeit negatively. she basically says how her mum grew up in Uganda & that she used to visit there quite a bit when she was younger, but wouldn't do so now because of the anti-gay laws

there's a bit where she says which colours she "sees" with songs (e.g. Taylor Swift's Shake It Off is "bubblegum pink"). she also mentions that she's never heard Flawless by Beyonce

  15. she looked so happy, healthy and really good!.......except for the dress. her face & hair make her look really sophisticated and mature but the dress is kinda mermaid-style and just doesn't really suit her upper body appearance. perhaps if she'd gone for a darker colour it would have suited her better, idk.

oh well, she still looks absolutely stunning!! :icant:
