You can listen "Nothing But A Heartbeat" here: www.scandipop.co.uk/song-say-lou-lou-nothing-but-a-heartbeat/
sounds exactly the same as the album sampler to me, although someone more technical might be able to notice differences idk

that was incredible! it kinda sounded like it would've deserved a place on UV (especially just before the 4:00 mark)

FX president John Landgraf spoke at the Television Critics' Association press tour on Sunday where he revealed that a "huge reinvention" was slated for American Horror Story season 5.
"One of the things I love so much about that is that it can be radically, radically reinvented in terms of tone, setting, period, characters, cast." he said, according to TVLine. "I think there's going to be an unusually large reinvention in between Book 4 and Book 5 relative to, say, between Book 3 [Coven] and 4 [Freak Show]."
"Ryan is really, really independent in how he makes these shows and what he does. So I know the setting, I know something about the characters and something about the tone and the time period, but I don't actually know the cast yet," he admitted.
It is not even clear if season 5 will be in the present day, as Murder House and Coven were. When asked if it would be, he simply responded "That's my hope, yeah."

In full?
I can't tell, I just read that it's able to preview, I have no idea about the length or which countries you can do it in
Possibly Sweden, cause that's where it's available to buy in iTunes (no other country has it yet).

What are your theories on season 5? I was thinking about the top hat operation but I don't think so because they would break the present-past-present-past pattern, but who knows? I think this season could be connected to MH and could be about prisons, I read yesterday that Larry said he would be transfered to a prison with a very good theater program on Chicago, what about that? I just can't wait
I remember reading today that S5 was confirmed to be set in the present day, ruling out the Operation Top Hat theory.

Do we consider "Disco" and "Dance Man" acoustic?
I don't think they're acoustic demos, the sessions that we have suggests imo that they were always intended to be acousticy

the album is now available to preview on Spotify, however it depends on which country you're in (doesn't work in the UK)

I'd keep I Loved Him, Happy Birthday & Song of Myself where they are, but maybe put The Open Road in Black Leather Moonlight?
-
@@SitarHero I think that it works for Miss America, but I'm not too sure about it for Black Leather Moonlight...I think the latter is more to do with nighttime (cause of the title) & the Tropico monologues just make me think of bright, summer days. Up to you though!

The album is not gonna leak any time soon, idk why people think it will...IAR only leaked because the snippets of it were uploaded to a vinyl website, which were then spliced together to make the full track. It's highly unlikely that the same mistake is going to be made.

It's the record stores fault for being stupid as fuck. Why upload snippets?
I can understand uploading short snippets but like...uploading random shoppers of the whole song??? Of COURSE someone is going to splice them together....
-
It's her fault tho. She's releasing it so fucking late and she's doing all this promo and sending the album to press people WAYYYY to early.
it's more of her label's fault, they sent the track to a vinyl store who uploaded the song (albeit in snippet form) to their website.

fantastic ending to the show, one of the better finales (along with Asylum's). shame that we didn't really get to see Elsa's rise to stardom, and the way she got there was kinda ehhhhh, but it was good nonetheless.
the scene with the Tattlers & Dandy at the dinner table is possibly one of the best i've ever seen. i was clapping when Bette shouts at him, it gave me shivers.
i kinda thought that Ethel explained the whole AHS-connected-season concept at the end, when she talks about everyone playing parts and roles????? it sorta supports the theory that's going around about each AHS season being about a different sin or something like that.
Orphans & Curtain Call were the best episodes of the entire season, maybe even of the entire show. it's a shame that the season had so many episodes that just felt like fillers - episodes 5-9 were just kind of there.
still better than Coven though -

YAY they better stick to that now.
so what did you trade to get "Sweet Dreams"??
who says I have it?

The solo version is nice but the instrumental is so...weird that I can't listen to it without Womack singing over it
