  1. …Charli was at the VMAs earlier this year and is currently at the EMAs.

Like would it really affect its sales or anything or what are you referring to?

that's true, it wouldn't really affect Charli's sales (probably the other way away around tbh), but it just seems like a shitty thing to do to a friend imo

  2. ""Last Song," the album's centerpiece, is a heartbreaking ballad that was recorded in two versions – one with a haunting vocal by Del Rey and one with Wilson's lead vocals. The song recounts his sadness about the Beach Boys' dissolution. "It started out being about lost love," says co-producer Joe Thomas. "But after the tour fell apart it became more about a missed opportunity for Brian and the guys to ride into the sunset together."

"I got really choked up playing bass on that track," adds Was. "There's something about Brian signing off with it, saying, 'This is it, this is my last song.' It's really intense. If 'Last Song' turned out to be his last song, can you imagine? Wow. That'd be some coda.""

From here. Kinda suggests that we'll only get Brian's version on the album, but whatever.

  3. Motel 6 V4

Trash Magic V3 (or V2, if you disregard the 'demo')

    Hundred Dollar Bill V3

    Coconut and Key Lime Pie

    Off to the Races (Demo)

    Live or Die V2

Jealous Girl V2 (really curious about this supposed 'sad' version)

Ruby Tuesday (the title makes it seem something similar to EMGHW, so it should be a killer track)

    Melancholia

  4. she posted this on her FB:

"Nothing more irritating than a bunch of 20 something year old boys pretending to be music industry insiders & knowing what would make me a better woman. Perhaps you should trying being a female & doing my job (& stick to your guns) & see if you could do it SO much better? Thanks."

does anyone know what this is in reference to?

  5. Anyone collecting Sky remixes? Official ones that is. All I know of is:

    -One remix EP

    -EIE (Twin Shadow)

    -EIE (Unknown Mortal Orchestra)

    -YNTO remix EP

    Anything else?

Obsession got a Remix EP, if I remember correctly. I think there's some more EiE remixes too, but I can't remember if they're official or not.

  6. Because I rely on y'all to tell me!

I need to know what era this is from, it's so cool.

It doesn't really sound like any era we've had so far (Pre-Animal, Animal, Cannibal, Warrior), which has led to speculation that it's a post-Warrior track intended for her third album, either as an outtake or an album track.

  7. WHY AREN'T Y'ALL TALKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE GOT A NEW LEAK A FEW DAYS AGO AND IT'S FUCKING FANTASTIC

it's called Lover and it doesn't really sound like anything else we've got from here before (released & unreleased)...the producers are Spookey Ruben & Schpilkas, who released it on their album Welsh Rarebits ("a random collection of rare bits and unavailable B-sides").

  8. Two of my personal favorites that I'd love to see her do covers of:

Brenda Lee, "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"

Bono: "Don't They Know It's Christmas"

The Brenda Lee cover would be amazing!

Imagine a cover of Jingle Bell Rock in the style of Boarding School

  9. As cheesy + clichéd as it is, I'd really like for Lana do a Christmas EP of covers. She could make some Christmas songs sound so haunting, like she did with her cover of OUAD.

Plus, imagine her singing Santa Baby - how sexy would that sound?!

  10. idk how many of you saw this article, but Ryan Murphy basically confirmed that all seasons of AHS are actually connected, with Pepper and Sister Mary Eunice being the first link between seasons.

We have good news for your crazy conspiracy theorists: You're not so crazy after all!

After two characters from Asylum were revealed to be showing up on American Horror Story: Freak Show, Pepper (Naomi Grossman) and Sister Mary Eunice (Lily Rabe), fans began to theorize that all of the seasons of the FX hit are somehow connected.

And now, co-creator Ryan Murphy has finally ended the speculation: All of AHS' seasons are in fact connected!

"They're all connected. We're just beginning to tell you how they're connected," Murphy said in an interview with EW.com.

"They're all very separate but there's clues every season that we're now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined."

Murphy also revealed that some of the fan theories he's read online are "completely right," saying, "That's the fun of the show. Hopefully by the end of the run, be it 10 years or 15 years, people will be able to stand back and be able to say, "Oh that was connected to x."

Sister Eunice is the first major acknowledgement of the connection between the different seasons, with Murphy saying, "The interesting thing about doing a show like this is every season is incredibly its own story and its own beginning, middle and end. Its own journey. But we have always from the very beginning in the intertwining mythologies and how things connect. This is the first year where we begin to tell you that season two is connected to season four which is connected to season one...there's definitely a rhyme or a reason and a connectedness to all of these seasons, but in the same way, they're standalones, which is the fun of it. But it is a puzzle. And Lily coming back and dealing with Pepper is sort of the first unveiling of that connectedness."

And in addition to connecting to previous seasons, Freak Show already has dropped a "big season five clue," Murphy spilled: the top hat on the cup of coffee given to Maggie (Emma Roberts) by the police. Hm...

Murphy also dropped a major spoiler about a fan favorite Freak Show character, who was (Spoiler Alert!) killed off in the most recent episode; though he died, Twisty the Clown will in fact he back later this season.

"Twisty is not over, and neither is Edward Mordrake. They both make triumphant returns," Murphy said. "I was shocked to read so many of these 'RIP Twisty' websites and blogs have sprung up. People love Twisty...He will return."

  11. I don't think she's abandoned it; if she had, why would she be gradually performing more UV songs (Shades of Cool was only recently added to her set list, IIRC)? She's doing the Paradise 2.0/beginning of UV tour at the moment, I think once that's over she'll focus more upon UV. I'm predicting another video to be out before the year ends and an announcement of the UV tour early next year.

  12. Honestly, I think she should drop all BtD & Paradise songs. She's done them all so many times, I reckon she should do the ones she's never done before/does rarely eg. Lucky Ones, Gods & Monsters (especially with the surge in popularity of this because of AHS) & Lolita. Everything else should be UV songs like Brooklyn Baby, Cruel World, Fucked My Way Up To The Top, Old Money, Florida Kilos (might be too hard), Black Beauty and Pretty When You Cry.

  13. Huh? How is this an American vs. British thing? I think she's pretty much always pronounced it the way she does in this song ("Every Man Gets His Wish", "Trash Magic", interviews, etc.).

I don't even know what I was trying to say with my earlier post, I'm sorry

  14. I can't believe I used to hate this song, it's such a great song :sadcore2:

And did anyone else notice the British pronunciation of Lana in this song as opposed to the regular American one she does (Lahh-nuh versus Laa-na)?
