    I love the Unicorn Kid remix of EIE!

    Okay, I will admit that the Unicord Kid and Unknown Mortal Orchestra remix of EIE are really good. But the others...sub-par.

     

    I wouldn't say butcher but they are dull.

     

    I love that all these 3 official YNTO remixes we have heard so far are SO different to the original one and all of them play with her vocals.

    I've heard the Johnny Danger one (bleurgh), but what's the other?

    Was she inspired by Video Killed the Radio Star for Love in Stereo?

    I know what you mean, I got the vibe of that song when I first heard Love In Stereo, too. She loves 80s/90s stuff, so it's very likely that she listened to this (awesome) song as inspiration for the album.

     

     

    She then talked about how the album was done is 3 weeks. She had 4 of the songs already done but they were completely different to how they sound now as she didn't like it at the start, they are 24 Hours, You're not the one, Boys and I Will.

    • She said she has started recording new material already

    I kinda guessed about 24 Hours, it was supposed to be on Wild at Heart (I think it was that era?). It'd be cool to hear how different is sounds compared to the NTMT version. Same with YNTO, Boys and I Will. The unreleased track Too Many Boys is lyrically similar to the album version of Boys.

    Idolator reports that Lana is keeping details about the project under wraps for the moment. Although a tune from Ultraviolence recently appeared online, Del Rey isn’t saying too much about her latest effort at the moment.
    From the article:
     

    "Lana’s new album was rumored to be released on May 1 but right now we do not have an official date confirmed for Ultraviolet."

     

    "While tracks like “In The Sun,” “Put Your Lips Together,” and “Betty Boop Boop” seem polished, there are those unreleased tracks that sound like they were in the very beginning stages of creation for Rey’s Ultraviolence album."

    I love Sky and Charli but I would never confuse Sky with Charli.

     

     

    She has always hated it.

     

    Her label pushed her to record this song.

    Yeah, I know it wasn't her choice to sing it, it's just interesting to hear artist vehemently hate their own songs publically.

     

    btw guys, sky is going to live on BBC Radio 1 in about half-an-hour to an hour

    Sky just seems so cool with black hair. Like, she just epitomises that rocker-chick vibe so much, I love it.

    I don't think Lana is as attractive as everybody says. She's certainly very pretty, but I just don't think she's overwhelmingly beautiful.

     

    Black hair, imo, suits her a LOT better than brown. Blonde works well too, I don't like her with brown hair.

     

    I really HATE the large majority of the covers for Lana's singles/EPs/albums. I've changed most of the ones in my iTunes to fanmade covers because they look so much better. The only ones I can bear to stand are the covers for Born to Die (album), AKA and Sirens. The Paradise one looks horrendous and don't even get me started on the Lana Del Rey EP.

     

    Body Electric is one of the best tracks on Paradise

    SIRENS:

    -Birds of a Feather (can only listen to it when i'm really in the mood)

     

    AKA:

    -I can't fault this album at all. There's not a single track I dislike on here.

     

    BtD + PARADISE:

    -Radio (doesn't suit BtD at all)

    -Lolita (demo version are so much sexier and more mysterious)

    -Yayo (the AKA version sounds sweeter and I love the 'dark niiiiiiiiiiiight' backing vocal in it)

    -Video Games (I don't hate this version, I just believe that the Demo was just 1000 times superior)

     

    UNRELEASED:

    -Daddy Issues

    -Moije Joue

    -Catch and Release (don't hate it, I just can't get into it)

    -In The Sun (again, I don't hate it but the lyrics are kinda clumsy and was a letdown from all the hype it received prior to leaking)

    -I Was In A Bad Way

    -Put Your Lips Together

    -Betty Boop Boop (I hate it but I like it)

    -Final version of Driving in Cars with Boys (imo, she sounds so bored in the final compared to the 2nd demo)

    -Come When You Call Me America

    -Heavy Hitter

    I didn't even know anything like that about her wow... 

     

    She was sexually abused on multiple occasions when she was younger; understanbly, she doesn't like to talk about it nowadays.
