Hawaiian Tropic; the lines 'Every man gets his wish, every man gets his wish/You told me this, now you're gone' and 'I remember/Party dresses' are so tragic, I can imagine this song serving the closing song to an album that starts with EMGHW
Never Let Me Go; I can't speak for everyone, but I personally think it's such a sad song because Lana sounds like she's really pleading for her bf not to leave her. I used to hear it as being happy, but after re-thinking it I believe it sounds like she's just saying 'please, please, don't leave me alone'.
Starry Eyed; 'They say make lemonade outta lemons/But I tried and I just can't understand it' and 'the sun's setting on our love, bye baby'. It's lyrically one of Lana's best songs to me, and I'm just blown away about how beautifully sad it is.
Your Band Is All The Rage; Just the whole message behind the song is sad.
The bridge of I Don't Wanna Go; Acknowledging how toxic the relationship is.
Try Tonight; the line 'but he will' is really matter-of-fact and tragic.
Bad Disease; mostly the ending, when she's begging for help but doesn't get it.
Peace; it's bittersweet
How Do You Know Me So Well; 'He said 'baby go to Hell'/And that was the demise of their love'
Next To Me; similar to Peace
Drive By; 'Is that what you wished/To leave me behind?' hits me, she's just so scared that K (?) hated her
Pretty Baby/For K (Part 1); Possibly the saddest one ever. Full of rejection and pleading, I can't get over how amazingly sad the lyrics are in this. The song by itself triumphs the majority of the BtD album IMO
Junky Pride; It's kind of like the more defiant version of Pretty Baby, but it's still so sad - she wants so much more but can't get it. 'I kiss you, I hug you/But I could not feel less connected from you'. Beautiful.

Pretty sure that's Lana singing, but I can't tell if it's a UV snippet....it seems more like the higher-pitch Lizzy Grant voice she used in her unreleased stuff, as opposed to the sultry Lana of BtD and Paradise.Possible snippet from Ultraviolence!

I remember the song I heard and saw the video for was Video Games. I was like 'men this girl sounds different but she needs to sort out her lip pouting thing'.
Then I heard Born to Die and I hated Lana because i thought it sounded horrid. I thought that Video Games and Born to Die were the same song, too.
Skip ahead a few years, I downloaded Btd: Paradise Edition. The first song on there I heard was Radio.
-
I don't think she's singing the same song as the music in the background...her mouth moves at a slightly different tempo.
-
I can only hear clicking (old film) noises???
Turn the volume up to the max and try using headphones, there's definitely some music/singing playing faintly in the background.
-
If you listen very closely on extremely loud volume, under the clicking of the film reel noise, you can almost hear music! I just can't decide what it sounds like
It's very very faint, but I can hear something too!
I'm trying to lip-read what Lana is saying but it's near impossible bc the girl doesn't enunciate properly...all I can get is that she says 'for' and possibly 'you' too.
What about that caption though? "Down on the West Coast, they got a sayin...'"
-
I'd heard of Diet Mountain Dew before Lana but never drunk it cause it's not available here, but the other week I found Mountain Dew Lite or something like that in a store and bought it JUST because of the song.
And I don't really like fizzy drinks, I only like them when they're flat. Flat coca cola =

"A rough tracklist (names revised) was apparently leaked by Steve Bermen. It's something like 1. Ocean blues 2. Venom kisses 3. Fire and ice 4. Ultraviolence 5. Kill kill 6. In your hands 7. Firecracker 8. J bird 9. Swimming pool 10. Get you 11. Give it all 12. Undercover 13. Dive 14. Black beauty I could be wrong! Just thought I would share but these titles sound pretty real to me"
It's fake, they're all lyrics from unreleased/released lama songs:
Ocean Blues = Lana sings about oceans in her songs repeatedly
Venom Kisses = Pretty sure there's a fanmade mix tape with this name?
Fire and Ice = 'I got the ice, you got the fire' line from 1st demo of Dark Paradise
Ultraviolence = Self-explanatory
Kill Kill = Same again (I hope this one is true though)
In Your Hands = ???? Not too sure
Firecracker = 'They call me firecracker' line from Go Go Dancer
J Bird = This is from a lyric, can't remember which one
Undercover = ????
Dive= Similar to the ocean references
Black Beauty = See Kill Kill

It truly surprised me she said "Boys" instead of "Love in Stereo", maybe "Too Many Boys" indeed turned into "Boys".
And I agree with you, 24 Hours would be the best single choice, is very radio friendly and catchy.
I'm 99% sure Too Many Boys is the concept demo for Boys, especially because of the repeated phrase of 'diamond dozen' at the starts.

I really think it's write not ride, ride doesn't really make sense.
I like this song despite it's quirkiness, I really like the instrumental decisions on the bridge especially.
Anyway, even this "final" version feels a bit like a demo. If it were ever fleshed out, there would be a few things to fix/change.
Sorry to be crude, but this is the only way I could think to explain it:
ride it in the sky = riding lana's bf dick = sex with him takes her above and beyond = she doesn't need a jet to go beyond = his sex his really good
