She employs a security company, she doesn’t hire their staff for them, she may also have reason to believe these allegations may not be true. I just want to add to this conversation that this was NEVER meant to be an extension of BTD, and they were songs for the original “second album” with interscope. The initial plan per Lana herself was a mixtape of songs recorded for BTD but this was scrapped after most of them leaked, she suddenly started mentioning a paradise edition in the late summer, I think it was first referenced in the same Radio One interview she announced Dark Paradise as a potential single and mentioned shooting a video for it.

I think they mean to say body of work - they’re quite correct though in that this isn’t classed as an EP by definition due to its to run time and therefore, conventionally it’s an album. The label may not have treated it as such, it may never have done the things it’s done if it hadn’t been tacked on.
