  1. Janelle Monáe and the band King Gizzard withdrew too, I'm betting it has to do with business issues rather than schedule lol ...unless we're betting on blue banisters features from them
  2. This timetable fits early grammy campaign period, I could see her label supporting it to try and boost Chemtrails lol
  3. With the Thunder rumour and the snippet with an Afraid-like melody my top 4 unreleased is 50% fed so I hope there's some creepy stuff à la Big Bad Wolf or an I Talk to Jesus type beat track.
  4. this pre-release to me has been sparks of hype followed by intense boredom... and it's not even like we aren't getting any info, but it's all so inconclusive how are we not even sure of the title??
  5. "Here's the deal - cause I know you wanna talk about it" sounds like the perfect opening line to me so here's to hoping WW is the first song.
  6. oooh so that's why i wasn't finding it!! thank you.
  7. Does anyone remember which interview it was that Lana said she wanted to write a novel about a starlet who found a dead fan in her pool or something along the line? Looking up "Lana novel" or similar stuff only gets me Violet results
  8. Album July 4th. 15 tracks. Dealer, I Talk To Jesus, Thunder.
  9. reframe the narrative and it makes more sense: instead of "boz thinks it isn't delayed" it's "there's no confirmed delay" which might just be that the schedule is a mess rn and no one updated it in the system or whatever
  10. kacey musgraves playing in the background... it's a sign they're collabing again!
  11. ben, mike, blake, chuck, charlie and nikki can't either
  12. so we're getting lust for life before honeymoon?
  13. it's actually quite funny to think how she probably thought the triple release would be really wild and commented on for the lyrics and no one moved
  14. is the drama people complaining on her comments? because i can't but picture her and mike dean in studio complaining about her fans rabid behaviour on social media
  15. 1 - High By The Beach 2 - Shades of Cool 3 - Bartender/Happiness Is A Butterfly (the retrofuturistic airships in the background are magical and she looks stunning. i don't care about the NFR! section though so i had to rank this lower) 4 - Fuck It I Love You/The Greatest 5 - West Coast usually people complain about her current visuals but each era has at least one mv i'd call great. hope blue banisters won't let us down
  16. I read someone suggesting Lana should have her younger self on the cover and I agree! Something like this 3 Women still with Lana holding Lizzy in a caring, but at the same time menacing way would be very adequate for this era; specially considering the more confessional territory she's delved into.
  17. World At War

    Lorde

to me melodrama is at that sweet spot where there's a lot going on but not in a way that makes it dense - it's an album that moves in quirky and manic ways rather than a thick, overproduced wall of sound.
  18. She's waiting for the baby to pop out so she can come through with crying samples and toy sounds for a nightmare-ish exposeé on her childhood trauma. Wait and see!
  19. i think nothing special! if that album is truly happening it's probably being planned around nikki with producers from the country world rather than lana's pop producers
  20. From the whole traditional-Lana-with-a-synth-twist I'm expecting stuff like this: lush retro melodies soaked in psychedelia.
  21. Tunnel Lined With Yellow Lights Starlet Hollywood Glamorous Neo-Noir God Bless America The Next Best American Record Lincoln, Nebraska Question for the Culture
  22. can't wait to meet y'all up on the Fuchsia Trailer Park Heaven pre-release thread the night before COCC
  23. Didn't she schedule some European dates? Idk if they were cancelled but I think she wants to tour if possible.
