  1. We've only heard 1:18 of Summer Bummer, which means there's much more to come. I hope it's a progressive song without the classical structure
  2. I just realized we'll have to wait the 12th LA time to hear the tracks edit: already said, sorry
  3. How about Yosemite and Summer Bummer being on the same record
  4. I don't know what to think of it. On one hand, I love the fact that she's trying to do hip-hop this era, and the song seems good so far. On the other hand, that chorus is a little weak compared to the other snippets.
  5. That's true, but I meant Ride, or Ultraviolence, or West Coast, or Young and Beautiful; one of the classics she's performed several times last year but we can't assume it'll be sung this year. I think she tries to avoid taking risks in singing too much new songs because some of them feature special voice effects or ways of singing that she can't do as well as in the studio version - for example, I don't think she'll ever sing Summer Bummer live. I also think Cola might get off the setlist this year, which would be good because these same old songs become tiring when so much masterpieces are left behind. Well, I'm not sure about Honeymoon. I think she did the strict minimum last year because she couldn't left her last record apart, but this time I don't think she'll perform any. Or, if she does, it will probably be the title track, even if I would die for Salvatore or TBD live Even though these are classics, I'm here for Blue Jeans and Summertime Sadness leaving the setlist as well. I wouldn't mind if she only kept Video Games and Born To Die from this album tbh.
  6. I don't think she'll sing that much from the record. I think she'll have around 12 tracks in her setlist this year, and she'll probably keep Video Games, Born To Die, Off To The Races, Summertime Sadness, Blue Jeans, Cola, Ride and Cruel World. That lets place to... let's be realistic, 4 or 5 other tracks, in which she may include one or two random songs from her earlier albums like she did with Lolita and Carmen last year. I think she'll sing Love, Lust For Life, Cherry and, if we are lucky, another one from the record - maybe White Mustang. I'm pretty sure she won't sing any from Honeymoon though
  7. It has already aged way better than LFL and Coachella even if it's been out for a longer time.
  8. In my opinion, her best ones are: Angels Forever, Fine China, Your Girl, Yes To Heaven, Never Let Me Go, Kinda Outta Luck, On Our Way.
  9. I bet someone has High even though David doesn't have it anymore. Anyone knows about Morricone, Piano Theme and I Talk To Jesus? Are they early-Ultraviolence outtakes?
  10. I'd die to hear them especially Cocunut & Key Lime Pie and High. But I don't know about the mail
  11. Freak live is so much better than the studio version in my opinion. It's rockier and mistier and she sings it perfectly, especially when she does these high notes in the bridge. ❤️
  12. I can feel that Heroin might be the kind of Macklemore's Otherside. I think it's a political song - and I'm here for this - with a dark, yet not urban production. I can see it having a real progression, even more because it's 6 minutes long. I have high hopes for this one. I hope for one of the songs on the record to feature nothing but an acoustic guitar and her voice. Maybe Get Free, if it's not Yosemite. Judging by how it's placed in the tracklist, In My Feelings might have the "heavier beatsy sound" she's been talking about. Only 12 days until we can hear all those I know it's fan-made. I think the guy that uploaded the album in 2012 made it by himself, but I can't remember where the picture comes from.
  13. Groupie Love almost gives me Muse vibes, because of the way of singing, the progression of the melody and the guitar riff.
  14. Groupie Love > White Mustang > Cherry > Love > Summer Bummer > Lust For Life > Best American Record > Change > Roses Bloom For You>>>>>>> Coachella. Everything is great except Coachella
  15. Both really are incredible. Summer Bummer has this dark and intense atmosphere, which reminds me of the colour purple and of a peaceful, yet mystical beach. I really love the fact that the record's songs are so diverse, the gangsta side of her is as interesting as the others. Groupie Love is far better than what I could have expected. Her vocals, the folky exotic guitar, the wet and tropical-wood atmosphere, the unreleased vibes, that's too much for me
  16. In my opinion, Coachella isn't that bad, it's just... really not as accomplished as what she usually releases. Nothing is catastrophic in the song - even the lyrics are a little novative, even though they are clumsily written - but I just feel the whole as something weak. I can easily picture it being the worst song on the record, even though I can't help but having low expectations for In My Feelings...
  17. found another one that fitted better but thanks a lot
  18. How good!!! I love that song so far, she really tried to make a diverse record where she could explore many faces of her music and I'm here for this - even though the White Mustang type of song is where she's the best at.
  19. Sure, I hope that Heroin is one of the songs that carry a strong message, the length of the song and its title make me think that it could become one of her lyrical masterpieces ❤️and the title is great
  20. The song from 1974 has a production that is a little too cheerful for Lana. Without being cheap, it has some 70's elements that haven't aged very well, and I can't picture her singing to it - plus, in my opinion, the melody of this song is quite weak. However, I like the positive / non-pretentious vibe of the song, and the fact that Lana made a reference to it is cute too
  21. Hey guys! I'm new here, but I've been reading this thread for a while; its funniness has helped me waiting for this record for such a long time. Even though I'm a fan since 2011, this is the first era I'm really involved in, and I found it cool to join the forum and get to talk with other stans from the whole world ❤️ (also, I wanted to translate the French interview but my account couldn't work until yesterday) By the way, I was wondering; when Lana refers to the two tracks that were composed before the Honeymoon release, don't you think that Lust For Life could not be included in these two songs? I mean, since she worked on it for one year and a half, she could have meant that she had two songs done before Honeymoon was released - which makes sense because Beautiful People is on the album and it was registered, and probably finished, in August 2015 at the same time as Wild One. I keep hoping for a Deluxe with Wild One and Yosemite, she made me so thirsty for that song after all these descriptions
