  1. Also - I love how she went from wearing blue for weekend 1 to wearing black for weekend 2, and how this directly reflects the “out of the blue and into the black” lyric from the Neil Young song she made her entrance to tonight. I wonder what that means for her, especially given the line in Get Free, “out of the black, into the blue”…

  2. Has it been mentioned that the spoken word verse during the hologram was potentially from Clarissa Pinkola Estés’s Women Who Run With the Wolves? I haven’t read it in full so I can’t say for sure but I noticed some of the themes from the book popping up in that - as a reminder, Lana posted about it in August 2019 and referenced it later with the Chemtrails video and in “Beautiful”.

  3. Everything felt so organic tonight. Her energy was so lively and the vocals were clear and on point. I loved the black looks (the Lasso tease with the second outfit!) and she looked like she just came back from the Echo Awards in March 2012 ;)

Tunnel, Candy Necklace, and Hope were the standouts for me. She shines on those tracks every time.

And who else but Lana to sing Born to Die, have Camila fucking Cabello come out with the most chaotic energy, thank Camila for her energy, and then proceed to sing Bartender. ☠️ CAMP! Love her.

  4. Help - her bringing out Camila is next level camp ☠️ and it’s hilarious because the fans just wanted FJM for Let the Light In…and instead the rumours are Taylor for that snow song and Camila for her Charli XCX pastiche. But it’s actually going to be super fun regardless because it’s Lana (and it’s all for the plot lol!)

  5. The way she managed to (1) praise a clairvoyant for "remotely" curing her laryngitis with the power of ~just vibes~, (2) clock the tea on her beef with her tour manager who quit because she got 10 motorbikes for free, (3) thank every other person on her team, and (4) casually drop a serve of a selfie, all in a single post, needs to be studied. This is why I will forever be a fan.

  6. Here’s a set list that’s semi-realistic and faithful to what she has been doing but also what I think she could have included since it’s Coachella and undoubtedly a very special show that also has some casual listeners  -

    Jealous Girl / Gangsta (Intro)

    1. A&W

    2. Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind

    3. West Coast

    4. Doin Time

    5. Let the Light In

    6. Chemtrails Over the Country Club

    7. Say Yes to Heaven

    8. Cherry

    9. Pretty When You Cry

    10. Ride

    11. Born to Die

    12. Blue Jeans

    13. Venice Bitch

    14. Diet Mountain Dew

    15. Summertime Sadness

    16. Ultraviolence

    17. Candy Necklace

    18. Video Games

    19. Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd

    20. Young and Beautiful

  7. She looks straight out of 2011, I cannottt. Hoping she keeps this hair for a while,  if not permanently…🤞🧡. And the way she just dropped that bit about Pete ☠️ It reminds me of how she said she threw plates at her dressing room door in Dallas on the Endless Summer Tour when he blocked it and they didn’t speak for the rest of that tour so she tour managed herself lol. Such is life, Lana </3

  8. I’m not taking what Courtney said about Lana too seriously because it wasn’t exactly a diss - and seemed to be more about the John Denver song than anything else, as mentioned by a few users above.

With Courtney’s candidness, so to speak, I think she just tends to say things rather brashly and bluntly. She evidently admires and respects Lana for her own artistic integrity - not to mention the ways in which Lana has supported Courtney personally. So, I’m still a Hole / Courtney fan and I can see where the rest of her points on the other singers she mentioned are coming from… ️ (even if I don’t fully agree)

  9. She looked straight out of 2011 - the hair and dress brought me back to Born to Die :poordat:🩵. I hope she keeps that colour for a while!

The sound engineering definitely was a shame, though - and everytime she sang a high note, the mic distorted it, so she seemed to shy away from belting in her upper range after that. Hopefully these bugs can be worked out for weekend 2 (and the first show nerves are out of the way!)
