Omg. It’s sweet that she’ll bring Taylor out on the day her album is released and it’ll definitely be a huge moment for the culture. That said, I still think that song is the epitome of bland ☠️ but here’s to hoping Lana and the band put their usual spin on it 🤞🩵

The way she managed to (1) praise a clairvoyant for "remotely" curing her laryngitis with the power of ~just vibes~, (2) clock the tea on her beef with her tour manager who quit because she got 10 motorbikes for free, (3) thank every other person on her team, and (4) casually drop a serve of a selfie, all in a single post, needs to be studied. This is why I will forever be a fan.

And the way she just dropped that bit about Pete ☠️ It reminds me of how she said she threw plates at her dressing room door in Dallas on the Endless Summer Tour when he blocked it and they didn’t speak for the rest of that tour so she tour managed herself lol. I’m not taking what Courtney said about Lana too seriously because it wasn’t exactly a diss - and seemed to be more about the John Denver song than anything else, as mentioned by a few users above. With Courtney’s candidness, so to speak, I think she just tends to say things rather brashly and bluntly. She evidently admires and respects Lana for her own artistic integrity - not to mention the ways in which Lana has supported Courtney personally. So, I’m still a Hole / Courtney fan and I can see where the rest of her points on the other singers she mentioned are coming from… ☕️ (even if I don’t fully agree)

The Hope holographic reminded me of SNL - the hair colour and dress are reminiscent of what she had on SNL and the constant twirling felt like a reference to that one clip that gets memed. Of course, the billboard further suggests this

Also - I’m scared for Ben’s comments section. Teasing “new songs” on the setlist and it was just a third of Without You, a snippet of West Coast, and Doin Time ☠️.

She looked straight out of 2011 - the hair and dress brought me back to Born to Die 🩵. I hope she keeps that colour for a while! The sound engineering definitely was a shame, though - and everytime she sang a high note, the mic distorted it, so she seemed to shy away from belting in her upper range after that. Hopefully these bugs can be worked out for weekend 2 (and the first show nerves are out of the way!)

I have no idea what to expect in terms of setlist, but I feel like she has to add West Coast and do some version of Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind since this is her first real show in California since October 2019. I could see her maybe doing Let the Light In or Margaret since they’ve had their moments online since the end of her fall tour. And hoping for a new song from Lasso if there’s gonna be a horse 🐎🤞🤍

I see the Lana influence in these titles and I love it - it’s so great to see her impact everywhere and have more people be open about how she’s inspired their work. Didn’t Billie post a photo from the Blue Jeans video to her story just recently? That with the titles and underwater album cover really makes me Lana was the main source of inspiration for this. Would be cool if she’s involved somehow!

I just got into her music (I know I’m late!) and I love her.

I’m late to the one year anniversary but this album is my absolute favourite - I put it on all the time that it’s become a part of me 🩵.

I think she saw how people were connecting her to “coquette” and just leaned all the way into it this past year. And why wouldn’t she? It has now become a fun celebration of femininity - which is something she had been criticized for her entire career. So, in a way, it’s an act of reclamation for her to embrace it. And I love that 🎀 🦢
