  1. I HATED it when she first teased it with the dumbass tourlyfe snippet. I hope it's not included in the final version. The "If he's a serial killer [..] I just want to dance with you" part is what I'm here for
  2. I SAID DON'T BE A JERK DON'T CALL ME A TAXI SITTING IN YOUR SWEAT SHIRT CRYING IN THE BACKSEAT ooooh oooooh ooooh
  3. they really grew on me, surprisingly. i'd love to see them in a cute little ep or something. but yeah not NFR material
  4. me, probably. VB > 95% of her discography? girl wtf
  5. I get what you're saying, but I think she should be able to relate to at least half of the song. It's similar in theme to BAR, and the elements you mentioned are there. Loneliness, relationship breakdown, loving someone who's bad for you & a bad person in general, having a cold/neglectful lover, being cheated on, being miserable in a relationship, fantasizing about killing your significant other, etc. There might not be a Bradley, Ras MG or Louie in her life, but overall I wouldn't say Doin' Time is outside of her regular themes at all. I could definitely see this being an original LDR song with some minor changes (pronouns, names, etc)
  6. if stans were behind this it would say cha cha matcha
  7. Or don't stream anything to show them she is #freelana
  8. I don't think it's because the lyrics aren't hers. I loved her version of Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood. The Other Woman? Haunting, mesmerizing. And her cover of Goodbye Kiss was a million times better than the original. It sounds a lot more meaningful and emotional from her, Kasabian's version just sucks lol. She definitely made that song hers. Doin' Time, on the other hand...her version's flat as fuck. Not bad, just...unnecessary. It didn't have to exist, and yet it's there.
  9. She has, while drunk, when she was 18. We stan a fearless kween
  10. ngl that gave me zoolander flashbacks lmao
  11. It sounds like hold music. Or elevator music. It sounds like every other generic summer bop. While I admit the original song isn't particularly deep or poignant, I still get it. I'm still...feeling it, you know? Lana's version has no emotion, she sings these words like they have no meaning at all. It's flat, artificial and completely unnecessary. Doesn't even compare to the Sublime version. So sad, I've loved her covers so far.
  12. lana stay alive challenge
  13. You know which unreleased track she should have redone & included in NFR? Serial Killer Strange Love! I just love that song's vibe, it's entrancing (sorry anne )
  14. Jokes aside, I'm here for this type of thing. I'd rather have a Neil Krug pic from 2014-2017 as the cover of NFR than some recent awfulness. I just don't care as long as the end result looks good.
