I was super disappointed when it came out, so took me a while to give it another listen. At some point I went through a phase where I played it quite a bit while cleaning/decluttering, then I forgot about it completely. I only started listening to VB again after I came up with different lyrics for it & a concept for a video, and I like it much better now tbh

I don't think her voice sounds overproduced. There might be a few instances, but it's not like Jack swooped in and saved the day lol

Justin Parker, David Kahne, Rick Nowels or Dan Heath could have done a much better job with MAC. I like it, the production's fine, but it's nothing exceptional that no one else could have done. As for VB, he can have it back

I only remember people complaining about the White Mustang snippets after the song came out and we realized she had pretty much shared the whole thing ETA: I do have the memory of a goldfish. But the LFL era was much better than this mess.

I don't think she's ever looked grotesque, but there have been a few very unfortunate looks. I loved her most recent selfie, she looked beautiful & radiant. I don't think she was wearing makeup and it didn't look edited. Reminded me of how cute she used to look bare-faced years ago.
