I've read all the spoilers. Won't be revealing anything, but I will say that it was a horrible decision to only have 8 seasons with a handful of episodes. Grey's Anatomy's tired ass is still hanging on after all these years, but Game of Thrones had to practically get axed. They have been rushing shit so much since S7, like they're trying to wrap up a failed show as quickly as possible. What the fuck is up with that? I agree with you so much, Lizzy was adorably kitsch and glamorous in her own way. Her homemade videos were cute af, on a non-existent budget. The best Elazybeth can muster is that HIAB mess, apparently. Truly can't wait to see yet another NFR song played over that video

This site is practically in memoriam now. It definitely feels like a kind of death. I can tell her Saturn return hit her hard. It hurts, but it's alright. It has to be. I'm also hoping we'll get a new Lana Del Rey at some point. Might be sooner rather than later considering how much the entertainment industry has been milking the remake/nostalgia trend. It's funny, I was looking at a pic Elle posted on instagram the other day and I literally gasped because of how stunning she looked. I was like, Elizabeth WHOMST But it's not about the hair or the makeup, it's not really about that full glam look. Just follow a bunch of pin up models on ig and you can see that every day. I loved grungy casual UV Lana tbh. It's about the vibe, the mood. It's gone, it's all over now. And I miss it so much.

I always thought it was super weird she never got a boob job. Nobody really got their lips done back in 2008/09 (when Lana first got fillers). For the most part it was something pornstars and middle aged trophy wives did. And the nose job? I mean I love her current nose but it looked just fine before. Nose jobs have always been popular but she didn't have the kind of nose that people make fun of, it was a perfectly normal looking nose. Her breasts on the other hand... Knowing her, that should have been her first trip to the surgeon. Huge fake tits were massively popular in the 00s and early 2010s. Guys loved them, and mainstream culture loved them too, no matter how unflattering they looked. Not everyone wanted their boobs to look like that, some girls only wanted to go one size up, but it was pretty much assumed that if you had small breasts, you were/should be saving up for plastic surgery. Back then, nobody really cared about your eyebrows, your cheekbones, your chin, the size of your lips, your thighs, your waist, your ass (it was actually a bad thing to have a huge ass), etc. But you had to be skinny with big tits, even if those tits were two basketballs stretching your skin to its limits. It wasn't something I had to worry about, I was a D cup at 12, but I remember how everyone used to make fun of girls with small breasts. Being flat-chested was like, the worst thing to be next to fat (no such thing as "thicc" back then). Girls like Lana were the type that developed a boob cream obsession at 13, and started begging their parents to let them get implants at 15 So, it's strange to me, but I'm glad all that pressure didn't get to her. I can't imagine Lana with huge plastic G cups.

I think she'd be ridiculed and humiliated by the press if she did anything close to that. I'm not a fan of whoever she is right now, but I don't want that to happen to her.

I don't think her songwriting has been suffering, but I agree with everything else you wrote. The next album is likely going to be quite...unfortunate. I expect mediocrity at best.
