The “what the hell” was obviously positive though.. She’s been mentioning Camila and how sweet she is and how she grabbed coffee with her in interviews and commented on her post about her VMA win that she’s happy about it. She meant the “what the hell” in a good way, it’s just a weird choice of words.

I love the transition from Bartender to HiaB. Her singing about the bartender kinda pushing her away and mentioning the truck and leaving the Canyon in HiaB, a storyteller.

I wish some of the song lyrics weren’t so on the nose. It was to be expected judging by the titles but damn.. With Crybaby she did a good job at having the baby metaphores but having the lyrics not be so direct and on the nose. K-12 isn’t a bad album though. The direct references are just.. ehh. It’ll make sense with the movie but I wish we could also seperate the album from the movie.

The album’s good, I like it. I feel like I’ll appreciate it way more in the context of the movie.
