they're die life/electra heart. i guess it was a somewhat in between, seeing as electra heart (the song) is dark af itself. she obviously ended up going more "bubblegum" pop with EH in the end, but it obviously started off dark anyway.

i thought 'eternity' was missing a bit of reverb and oof what a mood it is with some. https://dbree.org/v/5fb693
-
now we're asking the real questions.
-
they're all produced by stargate. "hold me" is "eternity"

WHAT THE FUCK IS HOLD ME. WHAT THE FUCK MARINA. my scalp is gone.
-
it is very much a blend of TFJ and FROOT.
-
well, you're lying to yourself if you think they're not some of her best.
-
it has some of her best songs. handmade heaven, end of the earth, emotional machine for example. maybe because it's clearly a set timed release.
-
L+F has some of her best songs so idk what you’re talking about
-
yep. they're all stem edits tbh.
-
merch for a poetry book. now we've seen it all, y'all.
-
it’s a banger, that’s why. Stems make up a song. For example, tracks such as vocals, backup vocals and ad libs will be bounced/exported separately to make the lead vocal stem. All of the drum elements will be exported to make up a drum stem, same for the percussion, synths, piano etc. These days, instead of bouncing/exported the track with all of the elements mixed to be mastered, people will instead master the stems to make the final master track.

oh wow. i can see why it was scrapped though.

and that's my fxcking opinion.

i mean, 99% of EDM/monstercat collabs are so..
-
yes, you are wrong. this album is still terrible. the way i nearly just gagged. dangerous woman is her only album that matters - the rest can stay in the trash.
-
she fucking said i'm a talented bitch so what
-
this was pretty terrible honestly. i've never deleted an leak/album before, but i deleted this after i listened because i 100% know i won't be going back to it. it just felt completely uninspired. all of the production sounded the same, and not in a good cohesive "same" kind of way. it just sounded like royality free "trap" music you'd find at the end of someone's youtube video. i thought TNU was bad but damn.

it's a custom delay and easily done. either that or a preset echo with a lot of feedback - it's nothing special that Pharrell has done. the beginning of TNWWY isn't really the same as the effect that Pharrell has done either - his is much more taking a one 4-bar length note and chopping the first bar into a bar each, instead of letting one note run for 4 bars (as an intro). TNWWY is different than that - the note runs and there's a delay/echo behind it.
