We've mentioned the incredible production of NFR...but I gotta be honest: we have all these rock influenced songs but apart from VB, no other song has a guitar explosion quite like Money power glory or fucking Shades of cool...kinda dissapointed in that. Minor detail, I still think it may be her best -

Lana's the big fat clown with that huge loaf of bread that's NFR. Jack's with her at the table, listening how she laughs at us. We're the poor dog on the floor -

I mean, listening on repeat to songs with that quality is a clown ass move. After you listen like once or twice you don't even feel the need to anymore cause of the quality so it's all good lmao. (well at least for me) -

Well, yeah, I agree with you. But my post was adressed more towards the people who say you can't make a song ranking because of the bad quality, you can easily and definetly make a ranking and I doubt our rankings will change drastically after we hear the full thing in HQ. -

People who haven't listened to the leak: the quality is bad, but it's not like 1kbp, wtf, you can obviously hear the melody and lyrics well enough and you can also definetly make out what the production sounds like. Of course you can't hear minor details and the instrumental gets fuzzy and blurry when the production picks up, but you still know that it sounds incredible. For example: So, yeah, we can definetly make out some rankings, it's not that bad -

EXACTLY!! Now that I know that the base is fucking great, like the melody and lyrics, I'm 100 times more eager to listen to the tracks when the're released in HQ and I don't have the urge to listen to the songs all the time either because the quality is bad so, honestly for me this was a win-win -

Woah did not think of that but it's such a great detail. Not sure if that was her intention but it's definetly a nice touch -

I listened to the other songs that I didn't listen at first (Love song, Bartender, California) and even though the quality is bad, the production on most, if not all the songs is definetly not even a little flat. It's all so rich, harmonized and everything. Just heaven. When this comes in HQ on the 30th we're all gonna be killed by the fucking instrumentals and production on this album. Also, it doesn't matter that much that the songs don't have bridges, they're so fucking good you won't even notice that absence -
There are no: ''you did it all for fame'', ''I told ya'' ''Honey how's it feeling/treating you now'' lyrics, she removed them all. However, the verses and the bridge are pretty much the same, so I'm fucking glad she didn't change it all at least.
-
NFR-no bridge MAC-no bridge (there's that little guitar solo but that's just pretty much the outro) VB-no bridge lol Filly-not really a bridge Doin time-not really a bridge Love song-don't know Cinnamon girl-no bridge (there's that repeated chorus in higher register and with lighter instrumentation) HTD-from what she performed live, no bridge California-Don't know TNBAR- a fucking BRIDGE!! and a brilliant one Bartender-don't know HIAB-no bridge HIADT-no bridge

Pre release thread is locked so sharing my thoughts here: I gave in lmao. Listened only to the tracks I sort of knew already though, to test out the quality on something I already knew. Listened to Cinnamon girl, NFR, HIAB and TNBAR. The quality is indeed really bad, but now I don't have a hunger to listen to the other songs which is awesome, I can wait for them in peace now till the 30th even though I haven't heard them lol. The verses and the fucking bridge in TNBAR are the same, we WON. (well, the chorus's lyrics are not that great but it's still nice) HIAB indeed has a much richer production towards the end which makes me appreciate it a little more, Still one of the weaker tracks for me, no bridge or anything, just what we've heard so far NFR- I can't fucking wait to listen to this in HQ, all the strings culminating are HEAVEN. It's quite a simple track. A beautiful string intro, first verse and chorus, then second verse and chorus and then instrumental string heaven outro with Lana singing stuff siren style over it as it ends. No bridge for Cinnamon either. Verse-chrous, verse-chorus, the chorus again in higher register(this can be considered the bridge though it's just the chorus) and then instrumental break all the way till the end. Did not listen to Love song, California or Bartender and after hearing that quality I don't even feel the need to which is great cause I can calmly wait for them now. But holy shit, the tracks already sounded good in this shit quality, so when they come in HQ, the album WILL end us
