i actually hate this excuse, she's a huge artist and she can basically perform anything she wants and there's nothing off BTD that she *needs* to perform besides maybe like 3 songs (vg, btd and summertime sadness) there's so many songs off her last albums that her fans would SCREAM the words to but after all it's her choice to keep the same setlist for basically her whole career BTD is still being portrayed as her "peak" to gp just because she believes it is like this, there's still ultraviolence and NFR doing crazy numbers on streaming services and she ignores majority of songs off these albums AND although its *not* ocean blvd tour we all know the main reason of this festival tour is her releasing this damn album which is btw doing such good numbers and she's supposed to promote specifically this release and not her whole discography (especially her 11 year old debut lol)

It’s the superior original version but reworked a bit. I think there’s some new backing vocals and a few new perks in the production, but generally it’s focused on being as close to original as possible.

Altough i love the video just the way it is (especially after hearing Lana explaining the scenes in the middle) - i dont think it's true. We would still have therapy scenes (mouthing the lyrics "feeling super suicidal"), that disturbing old man and Lana feeling uncomfortable and taking off the wig and the final death scene with walk of fame star saying LDR (suggesting that she herself doesn't want to end up like the women she portrays) - and of course the song itself. Seems like a pretty clear story with big impact to me and the moral would be pretty much the same. Love that she included that BTS scenes tho because it looks like a big F you to the media as she clearly proves her point with not releasing this as a conventional music video.
