Lmao I know it’s not a poem we would expect from Lana Del ~once i had a dream of becoming a beautiful poet~ Rey and neither I think it’s her strongest work, what I wanted to say is I just can understand the point she’s coming from. She also said her poetry book is about a bunch of things she didn’t want to sing about - so if the songs on the album are still lirycally pleasing I’m not complaining about this kind of poems. I actually think they’re kinda cute - it’s not a masterpiece in any form but it’s cute.

She makes simple poetry about her life and I think she knows it’s kinda cheesy at this point. But let’s just face the fact - that’s how it is. She’s now a middle-aged woman living in LA with unfulfilled dreams about being a mother, spending most of the time with her girlfriends and doing simply things just to make her happy. It’s not that exciting anymore but it makes her life less complicated. And I can appreciate her authenticity this era.

Finally, now it’s only Party Party left and gays can finally focus on actual GOOD unleaked songs xx

Like, maybe back in 2012 her face was that slim because she was just “investing” in it so much and actually from as far as I know, sometimes her face used to be that round in her Lizzy days as well! Ugh I know that we ALL love great visuals, but if she doesn’t want to make them, it’s really not that important. Yeah, she’s lazy and what? She clearly still cares about music - not high budget visuals and big promotion, MUSIC. And her music is still fucking great. Music DOES NOT have to be equal to big promo and expensive visuals just because society and big record labels said so. It’s just an ADDITION. If you need such things to enjoy her artistry, you suffer from a lack of imagination. Besides, do NOT forget about the fact that she records 90% of her music just for herself.

So if album’s 13 tracks long There’s still 6 completely unknown songs, praying she’s not gonna tease them on ig again

It’s cute but not fresh. Sounds like a mix of all of her ballads (Valley Of The Dolls, anyone?). Definitely not a material for album’s first single. I expected something fresh, experimental from her but I’m afraid she left her experimental-self with her persona.
